No, actually I got the ground control top hats. I haven't looked at it in depth, its possible I can put the springs and shocks together without a compressor. But I'd rather just plan on having it.
Yea, danny lives down here too. I'm sure I can arrange to help me out.

I'll try to make it to the meet but it all depends on if I'll be home on time on Friday. No idea where I'll be coming from. I'll be helping/sabotaging with Steve's car so if we can do my suspension at the same time that would work out great.
Whereabouts do you live Doc? If it works out I can work with Steve in his garage on our cars I'll just swing by and pick up the koni's.

Doc - assuming Danny is paid up, bring the Konis with the compressor on Friday and I'll make sure he gets them. Danny is only a few min from me.
Danny - I'll probably be a late show to bone yard also as Kristen normally doesn't get home from work until 6.30ish, which puts me up there 7.30ish. So late is okay.

Called Boneyard, no call ahead or reservations. Looks like a party of 10-12 depending on who shows up when. Jamie and Val from autocross are coming too.
So, first people there, get a table for that amount.

Also don't have one. Also have had no problems. I have it taped in the front window though. It tucks in behind the dash pretty well the tape just keeps it from rattling.
It was good seeing you all tonight. Hopefully I'll get to join in the next meet whenever i'm in town again.

Let me know when you all meet up again. I worked this weekend so I didn't get to meet any of you, but the next time your all doing something i'm up for it! In fact, we should have our own car wash or something.. get together to detail our cars up and make them look good

We should forever and always meet at the Tilted Kilt in N. Canton from now on. Yea, sure it's closer to some than others but... well, look for yourselves.

I mean come on, how can you go wrong?

Pros: Food is pretty good. Good Variety - beyond just beer and wings. Slightly overpriced, but nothing worse than Boneyard, Buffalo wild wings, or winking lizard. Girls are plenty scantily clad, and there is a fair amount of talent up there.
Cons: Male bartenders dressed like confused hooligans/sex pistols fans in kilts.
Fun fact: On the 17th of every month, they have green beer and specials and call it "St. Practice day" . . . except for March for obvious reasons.
I'm also confident that the day shift at Christies (1 block north of the Tilted Kilt in Canton) are the dinner girls at the Kilt. Which isn't a bad thing.

I love 'The Kilt'. I also love their hiring process. There their talent scouts go out and find good looking women and invite them to come in for an 'audition'.

I could use some guidance on a squeeling noise I'm getting when turn. Its not a really loud noise but it sounds alot like a pulley squeeling in the engine bay when I'm making a tight right or left turn, and when the tires are returning to straight. The noise does not change with engine speed, and temp and run time does not seem to be a factor either. I'm guessing something with the power steering mechanism, though I have no warning light on and my obdii broke. I also dont notice any inconsistancies with the amount of force needed to turn the steering wheel, so I'm making an assumption and ruling out the connections under air box that other people have experienced. Any thoughts? (2004 - 70k mi)

i've never had a bad experience at The Kilt. also never had a male bartender / waiter. i did see a male bartender last time i was there but he pretty much stuck to serving / paying attention to the women at the bar.
I prefer to sit at the "Captain's Table". Zero chance of having a guy serving you and you get a better seat to view everything happening around you without having to spin around in your chair. Casual gawking

Steve and I put in the koni's and s-techs last night (only the front so far because of time constraints) but man does that make a difference. Even on full soft it's very noticeable how much better the car is. The car rides a bunch lower (barely two fingers between fender and tires) and it responds so much better. Can't wait to feel it with the rears done.
Josh I remember you saying you wanted springs? I have two sets (8) springs you can choose from. Doc gave me his when I bought his koni's but I used tein s-techs..
Massive thanks to Steve for helping, I had a lot of fun. Steak dinner for you and Kristin on me lol once we're done and cleaned up
Also thanks for the spring compressors guys they came in handy. who gave us which? We have the metal jaws of death and the black wind up ones. Not sure who they belong too since I just got them handed to me last meet lol.

I'm thinking of running that set up but I am not sure if I can make it in and out of my driveway. For some reason the curb in my neighborhood is the cliff of death. Back in is the only way I could imagine so maybe next time we have a big meet I will take some careful measurements.
On a brighter note a guy that yelled at me for my car being too loud now has an 8 sitting in his garage
