I really hope you're not expecting too much sympathy here. When you get back from court, you should invest some money in buying track time to drive at a more "spirited" pace.

Crossing the HOV is a big no no. even worse since you were alone thus having no reason to be in the HOV lane.

As for the speeding ticket, you KNOW he didnt clock you???

I take the LIE often and they always have their guns out just waiting for people in those gaps in the dividers.

And even if he didnt clock you then he might have the visual speed reading training where theyre taught to count lines or something like that to figure out your speed.

And where was this?? Nassau? Suffolk? Queens?

Nassau....No there was no radar he put on the supporting deposition that he OBSERVED this.

I'm not trying to beat the tickets im trying to get a combo deal or something i know im not gonna win......cause i know im in the wrong......The judge usually will say hey you got all these tickets ill dismiss 1 or 2 and and you can just take these or knock down the ticket to a non moving violation im trying to cut deals so i dont get no points lol

I don't care about the fees ill pay $1500-$2000 in court and lawyer fees im hoping my lawyer will get the speeding ticket knocked down to a non moving violation so theres no points other than that i dont care.

Speeding on the LIE is a terrible idea...

I was going to post a picture that said "Military IDs, getting Soldiers out of tickets since 1776" but I couldn't find it

If you get away with this with your license I'll be surprised. I got a ticket 4 years ago for an 88 in a 55 on Sunrise Hwy. I went to fight it and the judge said if my license wasn't clean he would have taken it.

30 over is 8 points. I don't know if the HOV violations are points...1 each maybe.

The only real hope I see is that it was in Nassau and not Suffolk where I was. Suffolk you have to go to the Hauppauge TVR where they are ruthless. Nassau County has Asst DA's so they can offer you a plea deal.

However it turns out, good luck.

Money isn't the issue -- i got money -- points are the issue cause i could lose my license and my insurance will try and kill me with this.

Hey Juansito - call this guy
http://www.nassautraffictickets.com/

I got a 80mph in a 55 on the LIE in Nassau county. I paid him $350 and it got dismissed, I did nothing and he called me a month later with the news. You pay up front. He's very good and just does long island cases, knows the court here. Obviously no one can promise the same results, but his fees are reasonable and he's a quite nice guy.

For 4 tickets and a higher speed I'm sure the fees will be higher, but it's a good start. Also, If you were in queens he might not be able to help as much. If you were in Suffolk, he said the laws there make it much harder to fight things.

good luck, let us know how it goes

Needless to say i got pulled over and the cop gave me 4 tickets!

1. 90 in 55 (No Radar)
2. Crossing HOV buffer
3. Driving in HOV lane
4. Tints

Anyone know any good lawyers? I already sent out a few emails and im about to call up a few attorneys. Only stuff i care about is point tickets -- ill pay any fine doesn't matter how big as long as i don't get any points (ie tint ticket)

I got the person that will get you out of that JAM!!!! I give you the phone number# tomorrow at the meet.

not likely if it was highway patrol... they have some sort of agreement with the city... the city of new york pays for their training in learning to visually estimate speeds and in return the highway officer must use this training and be honest about it lol

i learned this when i got a ticket on my bike 2 years ago for 135 in a 50 on the clearview.

1 ticket = 11 points
