Me, Jin and some stragglers (Jackson? Ray?) are going to be at this event on Saturday. These folks host a great event and it looks like the weather will cooperate, come out and have fun!
Don't worry if you've never done it before, believe me there will always be someone slower than you.

I registered already. with a new SCCA membership (too lazy to renew my old one)
but then, I completely forgot I should pick the number in the 700-800 range, the "novice" class range ... and I picked 168. crap.
Well, its my first autox but I had 2 track day before so ... I don't know, will see what happens tomorrow.

Results are up http://www.sccaforums.com/forums/for...e/posts#403657 Great to see all of the RX-8's out at our event. Got to do some instructing with Jackson, the sunroof sure reduces headroom! Next event if any of the you guys would like some instructing just come and seek me out. I'm usually busy running around and yelling at people but will make some time.

The 25th is shaping up to be quite interesting. We will have 2 courses setup to run at the same time. The fastest time for each course will be the driver's time for the day. 2 cars will be starting head to head, and that will be handled automatically via a drag race style 'christmas' tree.
Paddock and grid will be in the normal locations. Cars will then get staged in groups that a bit larger than what we normally call for as double the number cars need to be ready to go at a moments notice. After their run, cars will pull around the back of paddock and return to staging to drive the other course. They will return as if there was a rerun issued and go right into staging lane again. Both course will be done twice and then the driver will return to grid.
