I frankly don't know if using water would or would not hurt the cat. I highly doubt it. But 200 is right, we can always disconnect the cat.

I know the theory of why seafoam does, and I know the theory of why water does. They aren't the same theory, and they are somewhat opposing theories. There are people that claim each is damaging and there are people that claim each actually cleans the cat.

I've never tested it and I haven't done this with a cat installed to bother trying to find out.

I tried to unbolt it once. Didn't work. Those bolts are on too tight. And I don't have a muffler so if I take off the cat, it's gonna be really loud. And no, it's not as loud without a muffler as everyone thinks. So please don't attack me for taking off a muffler. Lol. Well, I guess we'll see.
