Klepto, first off I'm sorry to hear about what happened and hope everything goes well with the repairs.

Second, I'm not saying anything negative here, really just curious. You said you parked away from cars, loose carts; as some have said earlier, they were expecting to find punks tossing the carts at you. If it is now the 'cart attendents' fault, where exactly did they come from if you parked away from everything? Several carts coming from no where at different angles is honestly scaring me... Did I miss something?

I didn't even think of that. And I've experienced winds moving carts (we all have). Hmm

That happened to me at a Target too when my 8 was fairly new. You're smarter than I am because I never went in & complained (1 cart only hit me, though) and I just dealt with the scratch up & took care of it myself. I can still see it at a certain angle.
I, too, was parked out in the middle of nowhere.
