Good News Everyone!

Engine is ported! JPR painted my block silver and blue. Both housings were scared up pretty good...so they are being replaced. Eccentric shaft, bearings, and rotors are all clean and in great shape. Culprit for the wear, OMP gasket leaking. I should get my car back on Wednesday/Thursday. Then dyno day on Saturday!

I should be getting all the pics soon.

eww. All my dirty parts. Take a look at the housings...thats from my leaking OMP not giving my rotors enough oil.

That seafoam must help, IMO your rotors look pretty clean considering the engine they came out of.

But wasn't this supposed to be done like a week ago?

I can't wait to see the car when I'm home from school in october.

 

Seafoam and Premix were the only things keeping my engine running. It was supposed to be, but it got to the shop a week late. So now the engine is being put back together. I should get it back on friday just in time for the dyno day this saturday.

 

So what's going on Thursday nights now? I read on TST that the police are basically ticketing anyone who drives into the sonic lot and stays for more than 10 minutes now.

 

Whhhaaaa! The only thing that stops me from getting my grape slushy...is...well a deer.

 

Every time I open this thread I look at these pics. That's gonna look so sweet with all of your other parts in there. So jealous lol....

Of course, my car would probably look retarded with a black cherry mica toaster oven in the engine bay.

Yeah, the last 10 pages or so of that thread is pretty comical. It just goes to show you why like every single TST meet inevitably fails hard when the majority of the members are like 17, think they're complete badasses, and drive completely carbon-fiber hondas, jettas and integras that are like 3 mm off the ground. I feel bad for that Alex (cleanneon) dude, even though I've never met him. He's like the king of the land of morons, only the peasants are constantly revolting against him.

Apparently they're all going to the Brunswick Zone in Feasterville on Street Road now. Any bets on how long that one lasts, considering there's a regular speed trap across the street to begin with?

Hooters car show is tonight, but that ends at like 9:30. Lame.

 

I met alex. He liked my car . We can try the brunswick zone...but that parking lot blows and has lots of potholes.

 

I am gonna start working on getting another oem throttle body and try my hand at polishing to see how it goes. If that works out I'll do the same with an alternator...which will probably cause me to an hero from all the nooks and curves on it, but it's so god awful sitting right there in your face when you open the hood. Something needs to be done.

I could just paint my block neon green and all the ricer kids would probably wet themselves.

 

Well what ever you do, make sure you coat them good. All that heat is gonna beat on the metal.

stock clutch and mazdaspeed flywheel. I'll upgrade to the BHR flywheel and stage 2 clutch when i go turbo next winter.
