Had a great time...nice meeting some new people and seeing some old friends! Also a lot of fun spirited driving!

dude those flames were huge!....and not for nothing but that is the strongest auto i have yet to see.....

 

Wow I know that I just showed face for a short time and I didn't have the baby with me b/c of being in the shop but I have to say that pulling up and seeing all those 8's parked and looking good got me all choked up.
I am glad that I made it to see everyone and I am just siked for the next meet that we get together for and hopefully I will hang out for more than 20 minutes.

Nice to see such a turnout. I'm currently nrusing my first ever sinus infection, which is almost as fun as eating ribs, drinking beer and talking about cars . Unfortunately my head is a bit swollen and the inside of my face feels like I just snorted wasabe, so I had to skip today's meet. It's better off actually, as my car is know to spread bad luck to anyone unfortunate enough to park next to me (ask chrism).

Glad to see everybodu had a good time. I'm about to go look at the pics. I'm definitely down for the next one and I should have a few goodies to show off by then.

Now that I looked at the pics I gotta say - I love the black cherry. Also the kitted winning blue and the black with R-magic (?) front lip and bronze rims. The pic of chrism's is one of the only ones I've seen that do it justice, but maybe it's just finally sittin low enough.

Chrism, it's bad enough my car is bad luck - you had a car crash into your apartment and rotten needed a new engine not weeks after, um "accidentally" touching my car on his trip to the states. The last thing I need is to curse everyone's cars AND spread germs at the same time. Plus I'm a sloppy rib eater and didn't want to wind up in the waht guys thread with sauce on my face.

Shinks you're right. I was talking about your 8 with the (never corrected so I'll asume I was right*) R-magic lip. I confused that color with the other non-Vred red. I still don't know the name of that color despite modest searching but it's a favorite.

I still have a few things to do, especially getting my kit installed, but I'll be around. Especially if we start to get some enthusiasm around here.

the other red is a shinka and its Copper Red...
and the lip is a Veilside.....

 

Somewhere at some point I knew both of those facts and in one of the pics I noticed a red glimmer to your 8. But apparently the infection has spread to my brain. It's a great loss.

I stand by my choice to miss the meet (well, my choice and the long line at the doctor). I was interested, nay concerned, for the health and wellbeing of the members of the northeast RX8 community and their 8's.

I am sick and couldn't make the meet, but that notwithstanding this isn't even my best work. Remember the one about the fire at the orphanage? My back still hurts.

I'll help set up a meet shortly. I even have a couple parking lots set up near the beach but they might have to wait until the spring/summer.

 

not with this weather....it could be a week from now!.....we just have to wait for the plague to subside
