12/30/06 Trenton/Lambertville Meet
Hey Folks
lets start early bringin in the new year with a meet on the 30th.....exact location TBA.....
i thought a nice restaurant in the Lambertville area.....any suggestions??
we could meet early to mid afternoon and have an early dinner for those who have to travel...
update 12/28/06:
meet is definitely scheduled for the 30th.....meeting at 1PM in the parking lot off River dr(on the right) just before the Washington Crossing Bridge
(going north on 29 [River Rd] make a left at the light [Washington Crossing Pennington Rd] towards the bridge)
lunch will be at 2PM at HiRib in Pennington....we will caravan from the meeting place to the restaurant...
here is an aerial map of the 1PM meeting place....please be aware that its not at Fahertys but near there...
Fahertys is on RIVER RD.....the actual parking lot for meet up at 1PM is on River DR
RESERVATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE AT HI RIB
WE WILL HAVE OUR OWN ROOM!!! w00t!!

agreed on eating somewhere, a nice cruise to the restaurant would be cool, nothing far, maybe meet somewhere outside trenton or princeton and cruise about 5-10 miles to the restaurant.

I doubt it will be snowing. Count me in! Though I may not have my car back by then.......I might be bringing the beater, or if it's warm enough my moto! 
May I suggest we meet in the park parking lot by Faherty's on the NJ side of the Washington Crossing Bridge (little bridge)? It's a good sized lot, and it's a short jaunt up 29 to Lambertville. There's my 2 cents.

If anyone is wondering why I don't have my car right now......
A couple of weeks ago, the garage ceiling sheetrock and debris came crashing down on my car, causing some nice gouges, scratches, and a dent. Car is in the shop now getting an estimate. We're taking our time getting the car fixed, so we can fix the garage first!

i will most likely have my car back by then but even if i dont im in. (transmission issues...dealers fault completely...but its all good especially if there is snow...i love snow.

Room in Lambertville?? We'd be better off staying at Faherty's where there's plenty of parking. I'll try to take some time to scout around, but it's kinda like New hope. Parking can be at a premium, especially on the weekend.

A Lambertville meet! I'm so jealous. I used to live in Titusville, and worked part time as a bar-back at the Lambertville House. Good luck finding parking! Take lots of pictures. If possible maybe a line-up shot along the bridge to New Hope (probably a stretch since the bridge is so narrow and weekend traffic).

Put me in as a maybe for the moment im working midnights the day before and the day of. I'll try to take off the day before. Also weather dependant as well (given).
As for a time i vote early as in lunch. As for a place in the New Hope lambertville area, Havanahs the food is excellent but may become pricey.
We also could go to HI Rib (barbecue place) on route 31 in the Pennington Area, plenty of parking.

Lambertville is right across the bridge from New Hope. Someone mentioned HI Rib!

meet up between 1 and 2 is perfect, as are ribs. Most of us have plans for that night or the next for new years so an afternoon lunch will probably work for most.
