I got some bad news guys.
Since this meet has gotten so big we are forced to cancel the cruises on both days for 2 reasons.
1. too much liability on OCC.
2. Local PD asked me not to do it.
So rather than stir up any bad blood between OCC and namely myself and the Local PD we are forced to cancel the cruises.
This is not stopping anyone from going on their own. If you still want to go I can tell you some good raods to go on, but this is strictly at your own risk.

Storm and I were discussing this earlier and it's really a bummer. But, I will be available for touring the area a little bit as I'm pretty familiar with the roads up here. I can also take a couple of you interested for some very sick pictures in West Point (especially if it's a nice day!). Like Storm said, it'll be on our OWN volition and we'll have to do it in small numbers as to not anger the fuzz and because the military police on West Point will NOT enjoy a lot of slick cars cruising down and around the post for pictures. Also, getting through the security gate will take about 3-5 minutes per vehicle. I'll have to cap it around four-five people who are really interested in the cruise/post pictures. If there is serious interest, I can start my own thread for sign ups and disseminate specific instructions and information about West Point and the route we'll take from OCC.

btw, West Point is only 20 minutes away from OCC in Newburgh and it can be a very nice drive.

Thanks, Altspace, for telling me about this meet! I lived in New Paltz for a little bit back in '02 and remember how cool the roads are up there. I'm going to try hard to plan for this and will register when I'm sure, plus I can get my bf and his Shinka to go too
