Sup fellow 8's , yeah i think im the only Rx8 in all of Washington Heights aka Uptown.... Ive seen a red one once in a GREEN moon but thats about it ..... would be cool 2 meet other owners...

Last night on New Hyde Park I spotted a Yellow 8 at Starbucks. We waved and admired each other's rides - well I hope you weren't staring at my wife....

Chris... I don't know why but NY has got some disinterest going on about our cars! In all honesty I would love to come out to the Heckscher meet but I'm out of town. During Bear Mtn I was in Texas. Now I'll be in Virgina.

The 8 drivers in New York just need an identity....

spotteed a velocity red mazda rx-8 on the west side highway around 23rd street at 8amish . It was a 30-35 year old black guy with NY plates which started with DM i think. I waived but my rotary escape didnt catch your attention. I was going downtown so i couldnt give you one of my cool NYRA cards lol

A gray rx8 always parked at Quentin and around East 19 street Brooklyn? Very near the B and Q King Highway Station (one block from Kings Highway). You had temp tags on when i saw you a few times. I saw you a few times and i wanted to write a note but i was in a rush.

A red RX8 passing by 65th street Brooklyn. You were going from Bay Parkway passing by 21st avenue where i was walking my dog. You also have HID headlights. This was probably last week.

Also a few more rx8s i've seen lately around Brooklyn :P.

 

I saw a red RX8 coming from the Brooklyn Mazda Dealership going the opposite way so i made a U-turn as soon as a i could and tried chasing up. Eventually i did after he stopped at a gas station. I went out to ask him (late middle age guy) if he was on rx8club, he said "no, i'm looking to trade it in for another car". I was in an RX7 too and he didn't recognize it .


So yesterday night we decided to go cruising, saw an gray rx8 at a light behind us so we double parked and let him catch up. He caught up and didn't pay attention to our red and rusty rx7. He got on the Belt Parkway East and we followed him. Of course a n/a FC that needs a complete full tune up can't really catch up with him but we did after a while (rx8 guy went around 70mph anyways). We got next to his gray rx8 and looked at him waving and honking, he didn't even bother to look over. So we exited .


FAIL...

Tuesday Aug 7 @ 6:30pm Bell Blvd and 43rd Ave.
I was crossing the street with my wife when I heard the distinct note of the rotary passing behind me. You were a white 8 making a left turn into 43rd Ave from Bell Blvd. I think I also saw you on 46th Ave later on that night headed eastbound. Freaky thing was that when I initially saw your car I thought mine had been stolen!

 

BLue with black wheels. Today around 7pm on West 6th and between avenue P and avenue O. Bensonhurst Brooklyn.

 

Mmmm....thats me I think it was 8 day today, because I saw 3 of them in one day. One silver around 3:30ish pm on Belt Pkwy E, one red forgot where (lol) and one black on 14th and 86 St (bklyn) around 3:45ish pm.

^ Possibly the same RX8 again today at around the same time. Going down McDonald Ave turning at Kings Highway going towards Ocean Parkway.

 

Last night I spotted White 8 parked on Bell Blvd near 46th Ave. You're lowered and you have a dent in your front passenger side fender... How did that happen?
Anyway I thought you were badass for parking right next to the bus stop. BTW I would've liked to ask what you were dropped on - looked good.
