2004 Velocity Red RX8, 6MT, 48.5k miles, GT pkg, $11995.00
Hey everybody-
I'm selling my 2004 RX-8 Grand Touring, as I need something that can tow my other toys. It's in exceptionally good condition, with Velocity Red Mica (metallic red) exterior and black leather interior.
I am the second owner, and the car has the following options (some of which were part of the GT Package):
leather, sunroof, power driver's seat, heated front seats, auto dimming mirror, heated exterior mirrors, Bose speakers (OEM), bi-xenon headlights, foglights, stability/traction control. It doesn't have the rear spoiler.
I have two sets of wheels for the car, one set of 19" black 5-spoke A.R.E. rims with Pirelli PZero Nero tires. The tires on this set are at ~20% usable tread. The set on the vehicle now are 18" 15-spoke Mazda rims off a 2006 MazdaSpeed6. The tires are new 225/50 Michelin MXV4 touring tires. I went with this tire for the fuel economy, noise reduction, and softer ride, as I've been using the car for my commute which is 160 miles daily. The A.R.E. rims can be included in the sale of the car for an additional $200, and are available for sale separate from the car for $350.
Other recent items include a new rear wheel bearing on the passenger side, new air pump, new underbody splash guard, and the tires as mentioned.
The car is free of any corrosion/rust, no dings or dents, has a clean Carfax, and is up to date on any/all TSBs.
It is available with the balance of an extensive extended service contract for $1100. The service contract has approximately 29 months/29000 miles remaining and is from a very reputable company.
KBB has the Private Party value for "excellent condition" in my area at $13,790; "good condition" is $13,165. The car truly is in outstanding condition. RX-8 enthusiasts will be the only people capable of telling this car from a 2011 model.
I will take photos of the car tomorrow and post by tomorrow night (10/25). In the meantime, shoot me an email if you have questions.
