I second that request. I'm in the northwest suburbs (Palatine), and I would love to know who to take it to besides the dealer.

I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question -- but if someone's good with RX-7s, does that mean they're going to be good with RX-8s?

Well no and yes. If you know what the A/F should be on the Renesis motor than yes someone who tunes RX7s could tune RX8s, but you would also need an aftermarket tunable computer. Some of the higher end Canzoomer models were tunable, I don't know of many others.

One of the seminars during the Revolution weekend will be an intro to tuning the rotary engine. You should come on down with the Chicago owners.

They couldn't be closer to me either.

I just got off the phone with them. Although their website doesn't mention it or show anything for the RX-8s, they do them as well as the 7s.

I also asked them about Miatas. They do those as well and have a turbo kit coming for the Miata as well.
