for now this is my plan:

April 12, 13 or 19,20 - Mid-Ohio (3 hour Enduro)
May 17-18 - Putnam Park
June 7-8 Grattan (3 Hour Enduro)
July 19-20 - Autobahn Country Club (3 hour Enduro on the Full Track)
Aug. 1-3 - Road America (Spectator Event) (2 hour Enduro)
Sept. 6-7 - Gingerman (HPDE)

After Mid-O nothing is over ~2hour drive from my place.

Eh, last year was a little bit of a disappointment for me, I had my incident, and I really didn't feel like I progressed much compared to the year before.

I am going to commit to myself to leave my ego and pride at the door this upcoming season, and make myself BETTER.

It's easier to set it aside when you totally have no idea what you are doing, once you get a taste of what you think you can do, that makes it much tougher.

I've been working on my downshifting technique as well. The great thing is that it is the same technique I use for changing channels on the remote, so it has multiple applications.

i dont think ive ever seen the north course run by itself by an outside group. It seems mostly they rent the south side out and leave the north side open for members.

In the HPDE groups, yes. Bt they also do a great job of providin instructors as well. Don't know if the groups you run with do that.

They also run Time Trials and race groups in the same place on the same weekend so you get some good exposure to that atmosphere and some really good contact and experience meeting and talking to those guys if you want to pursue it.
