Now you tell me. I just went and bought a set yesterday. For arguments sake, what kind? I got Autozone specials, $25, to get me through. The OEM ones were gone, down to the rivots.

There is a track day with SCCA Friday October 5th. If it rains this Sunday for the Autobahn event I may hit up SCCA next Friday. Check out the links. It's also for a good cause

You like Autobahn more then RA. I prefer RA because of higher speeds and longer track, though I think Autobahn is a bit more technical. Granted I've never run the full course.
By the way the dealer is replacing my cat and MS exhaust under warranty They fudged the mileage on the exhaust Turns out the cat broke apart inside. They claim it had dents on the outside which is a sign of outside influence to it's failure. But MNAO agreed to take care of it.

I prefer the track that gives my lower HP car a fighting change against the higher HP cars. I hate hitting the straight and just bending over for anything with 250whp.

And thats great that the dealership got that exhaust issue taken care of for you!

You got a point there, you should try Black Hawk Farms then. I ran there back in April and it was a nice small track with nice corners and only 2 straights which are fairly short. Yes, the dealer did hook me up.

I wanted to do BlackHawk, Autobahn and Grattan this summer and just didn't get around to it. That is really a goal for next summer. Those 3 tracks plus Gingerman a couple of times and Road America will make a nice full season.

So is the noise gone then?

I'm up for Blackhawk, Autobahn, and Gingerman. Not sure about those other two yet. I will just see how my next couple of track days go.

You deffinitly need to run RA, its a great scenic track and great for spectators. Just ran it yestreday, lots of fun. Except for the part that I ran over a cone when I went off track. Now I need a new lip.

I'm just wondering if RA may be a little bit too high speed for me and my car. At least at this point. Maybe by sometime next year I'll be comfortable enough to do that.

I went off track coming out of the carrousel. You know that black patch that you want to place your car over? Well lets just say I was way to the left of that black patch which meant grass and dirt. Luckily it was dry so I drove off and then just drove back on. All I damaged was the lip kit I have, cracked it in half but nothing some epoxy, sanding and paint can't fix. Since I'll be painting the whole bumber in the spring no reason to fix this now. By the way the MX's are great I increased my speed in the carrousel to 81 MPH and 98 through the kink. When I look over the video I can see how my times changed from last time. Now back to class.

RA isn't a problem. Just drive within you abilities. And remember you aren't racing anyone but yourself and build speed gradually.

Here are the tentative Nasa Midwest and IN/OH regions schedules for the upcomming year. Not a big fan of that MVP. I think they are overpriced for a single day. Maybe thats just me.

Midwest:
April 26-27 - Gateway
May 17-18 - Putnam Park
June - Pending
July 19-20 - Autobahn Country Club (3 hour Enduro on the Full Track)
Aug. 1-3 - Road America (Spectator Event) (2 hour Enduro)
Sept. 6-7 - Gingerman (HPDE)
Oct. 13 - Autobahn Country Club (Full Track)

IN/OH:
April 12, 13 or 19,20 - Mid-Ohio (3 hour Enduro)
May 17-18 - Putnam Park
June 7-8 Grattan (3 Hour Enduro)
July No Date Yet - Mid-Ohio
Aug. 1-3 - Road America (Spectator Event) (2 hour Enduro)
Aug. No Date Yet - Mid-Ohio
Sept. Pending (HPDE)
Oct. 4-5 Putnam park

You really should, nothing like a track day to learn about how your car responds differently to different inputs.
