lol no I just got that and the intake recently. and I will not be going north until may for a car show that I was in last year that is part of ACEN which is a huge anime convention. This year it is out doors which mean drifty drifty instead of it being inlock down for 3 days in the con hall.

 

Well you need to keep checking out on here for meets and stuff we want as many people as possible

 

Me and the mrs will have to try and make one. my problem is I work alot being the closest thing our shop has to a manager lol.

just bought mine a couple months ago its an 04 GT 6spd with the aero pkg this isn't my first rotary i have had all 3 gens rx-7s. I live near arnold and am sometimes at midnight madness in the hardpark section outside the drift pit with my FD. Is anyone on here on driftstl.com.

 

welcome RE, I think I'm a member on there, but I'm never on there, the only STL member on here that seems to drift is sparks.

hope the instal went well saturday james. Sorry I couldn't make it, I was up at joe machens until around 12:30 or 1 trying to figure out what was up with my car alarm. Completely took the fuse out of the connector to the positive battery terminal and the siren still sounded, only way to get it to stop was to take the connctor off the negative terminal. Joe machens sure finds a way to mess everything up, I think they are the main reason I am looking into a new ride.

For any of you college basketball fans ESPN is the place to be tonight. Mizzou vs Kansas at 8 PM. one of the most hated rivalries in college sports...though it kills me to say Kansas will most likely win, its always a fun game to watch.

Found out what was up with my alarm, the mechanics somehow tripped the factory alarm on my car and that was the alarm sounding, not sure how they did that one, but its supposedly fixed.

yeah the ones who run MM I met them through John Stecher (who owns the initial d rx7 and ae 86 that was destroyed) by playing airsoft. we are close friends now. then I went with him to MM one day and met Scott and all them. It has been a while since I have been out there though. Tony remembered me and Cankles did but Scott I had to remind lol the last time I was there last year.

 

yeah cankles is part of our team and Tony is constantly getting fed here. john was over 2 weekends ago trying to get Koopa's hachi running in my garage.

 

Yeah I am a member of driftstl but I never go on the site anymore. I know Kyle from DSM long ago, and I have hung out with a few other members on there a few times. I also have an fc that I am building strictly for drift.

I came pretty close to punching my tv last night, mizzou sucked! Good thing the game doesn't mean that much and we are still on our way to march madness.

got the rx8 back today until the engine comes in sometime later this week. I kinda forgot how much I love this car, I dunno that I can get rid of it guys!! At worst I'm atleast gonna try and hold off until the car auction in early april. They had some sweet rides last year. Including a twin turbo 93 rx7 that went for around $17 K. But the 8 is just so fun, as of right now the car search is on hold, who knows by this time next week after having to deal with this dumb dealership up here, I may be lookin at some new cars again.

 

I have to work this weekend sorry plus my brakes are shot waiting for my rotors to get in. I got my pads in though. so my 8 will be down for a while until I get the brakes changed. I think I am going to paint my calipers too will I have the 8 on the stands.

Re- that sounds like john lol and Koopa is still working on his hachi? I dont know if we have met in person or not. I am usually bad with names but great with faces. I will have to make it out to madness soon though I need a battery tie down so I can drift. Then again I am a little rusty with my drifts lol. I need to find a lot to practice or in the middle of no where. It sucks though I have so much to try and get down before May when I go up north again with John back to ACEN. New rims, new wing, possibly a new kit, but I will need a paint job though Idk how much that is gonna coast.

yeah koopa's hachi needs a harness it isn't pulsing the injectors. there are a few good lots down here near arnold i hit 2 are fairly safe provided ur aren't there for more than 30 min.

steve burket was selling his mint 93 rx-7 with 40k original miles garage kept and everything under the hood replaced as a precaustion cause it had sat for awhile. he might still be willing to part with it if he sold the spec miata. he only wanted17k i would have bought it if i had the money.

 

That is not a bad price a little more than I paid for my 8 but still I would probably jump on that if I had the cash. Hopefully koopa gets his hachi running right. I know john plans on rebuilding his, but Idk when he is gonna start on it or what time frame will be on it till it is done. I know I need to get out to Arnold sometime soon it has been since last year since I was out there lol. we will have to hit up those spots before I go back out to MM granted I get some sort of tie down for my battery.
