Ewwwww. I have avoided Facebook thus far. Please don't make me start. If only to avoid the "I told you so," from my wife.

Hey Adam. Did you ever get that BHR midpipe? I think that is what I might end up getting and was wondering how long it took for you to get it after placing your order. I had ordered an AP but after over a week of it not being shipped out after being claimed to be in stock, I came down with buyers remorse and decided to get the better made piece.

You ordered the BHR? I am curious to see how that one sounds. I don't think Adam got his yet.

Haven't officially ordered it yet. Talked to Charles through email. He said if I ordered it by Monday then I should have it by Friday. I kinda wanted obnoxious but the BHR is so appealing and looks phenomenally well built.

Anyone have the Racing Beat oil cooler screens? I'm debating on getting them, although I find it highly unlikely for a piece of something to bounce up in there.

Sam they are defiently worth it. Lots more stuff than you would think boucnes up and hits those coolers. There was a guy selling some locally on craigslist a while back not sure if theyre still there.

What do you guys think about meeting up next friday night at hooters downtown or in soco?

I think the guy on craigslist was selling the radiator screen. It looked cool but he was out in St. Charles. All of the bent little tabs on those and my radiator say any of them are a good idea.

I might be down if you want to meet in Soco.

Tim, I remember you said you used to do stuff with Hondas. Well im going to look at a couple Civic hatches tonight in fenton. Ones and 89 and the others a 91. You wouldnt happen to possibly know this person would you?

No. I have been out of that scene for a while. If you want any info on anything I can help. I believe the 91s were easier to do swaps with. Especially if you start with an Si. I believe their fuel systems made things better to work with. There is a ton of information floating through my head on Hondas.

Yea I went and looked at them. The body on the 89 is really clean and interior wasnt too bad either. Engine looked a little rough but didnt run too badly. No AC though and I really dont want to take the time to put the compressor on and try to get that going. I have one EG hatch to go look at but im gonna wait til the 8 is going again which I hope is very soon.

My personal preference would be the EG. As long as it hasn't been butchered in some way. Those hatches are so awesome. Maybe it's my age that does it. The suspension is better than the EF and your options for engines and everything else are more numerous.

LS motor for sure. No pesky vtech. You get more torque and the head flows better, too, if you port it. You can do those by hand and have good results. Hondas are so easy. That's why so many are ruined.

The BHR midpipe has been officially ordered. I hope it gets here before the weekend. Adam, it sucks you had so many problems. I would have liked to hear it first before spending the money. I hope it's good with that HKS.

Yea I wish I didnt have the problems either. But now I got to upgrade to the lightweight flywheel and a exedy stage 1 so its still a new mod to the car which Im happy about. Im thinking ill have to buy a new SSV once I get the car back too so thats another 250. Also I got my Cusco oil catch can in about a week ago. Its gonna look awesome once I get it mounted.

And now ill get to hear yours before I buy mine so thats works out nicely.

After going on a reading spree I ordered a catch can, too. Hopefully it gets here soon. It has been a week and a half. Unfortunately, I have been ordered to stop buying things for a while.

Some SR20s and Motec exhausts for my Civics would be pretty sweet right before Racewars.

On a more serious note, I know a rather large toolbox and air compressor that would love to assist on an FI install.
