If I did it, would someone on here let me borrow their cat so I can pass emissions?

If only it was like 2 more months from now I would charlie but I have to take care of my clutch/flywheel and then get new springs and buy shocks from james.

On a side note i started school today, shitty except i found out i am gettin a check for 800 dollars in a couple of months just for going. And that is money for the car.

ha ha brett hasn't disappeared, just been busy travellin. Girlfriend's grandparents friend died so I had to go take care of there dog for a couple days, and just went back to Columbia and have been workin. Still doesn't look good for the exhaust so I don't think you guys will have to fight lol. Although I do already have some parts on order for the G35.

James you know anyone up here with a garage that would be willing to help instal some lowering springs in a couple weeks?

Cyrolan I had all of my custom audio done at a place called Xclusive Audio in Belleville, IL. Just across the river from STL. Had a complete false floor and custom box done that looks great and sounds even better. Great shop, if your looking for top of the line stuff, but fairly well priced.

charlie not sure if your still lookin, but I found another system that allows you to hook up your ipod, kinda like the drive and play I had in the rx8. It's called an Alpine EX10 advanced IPOD controller, I just ordered one to put in the G35. I just remember you were lookin for somethin like that a while back. I paid $70 for it.

How does that Apline Ipod thing work? Because I was looking for one for my car. Was going to go with the GROM, but that is cheaper..

The alpine just has a brain type thing that you can install in the glove box and then a head up display kinda thing with a remote so you can just put your ipod in the glove box or whatever. Ill probably try and do the same thing in the G35 that i did in the rx8 with my harmon and Kardon set Drive N Play which seems to be the same thing as the Alpine. Which is do a custom mount somewhere in the dash near the radio. Put the brain in the glove box, and then run a wire to my ipod allowing me to keep my ipod in the console between the rear seats.

Thanks Brett I've got the GROM though it works nicely its all pretty concealed, I wanted Nate's double din screen but we never got around to doing that swap and I dont think were allowed to pull any more parts off of it...

If you all like your CATs so much what would it take for me to get one of your cats.. god damn I thought this was going to be painless lol...

Does it play it through the radio, or run a wire to the back of the head unit?

it runs through an adapter to the back of the radio and then plays through the radio, works with the steering wheel controls and charges the IPOD.

your welcome to come over to my place as long as you give me some heads up. i have a compressor and plenty of jackstands too so i pop the whole car in the air and do all 4 corners at once.
is it for the G35?
