Yeah. Insurance is a blessing sometimes. IT just depends on what it would do to your insurance costs compared to what you would pay without it.

what's you deductable?
if its 500 then getting the rims replaced will be worth that.
hope they are on the side you curb checked.
also what tires you have on?
some summer tires in these temperatures never get up to temp and can be harder and lose traction

 

The tires are all season I believe my deductible is 500 but the rims are only going to cost 700 to replace so unless there is more damage the insurance isn't worth going through (the tires are fine). I'll go get an est. For dmg today or tomorrow.
