LAME we need a big meet soon with some photos and such

 

i know boostd use to shoot pics for car magazines so it would be cool to get him to take some professional style photos. maybe get a meet one day and try and do a photoshoot as well. it would have to be on the weekend for me, but we could deff make somethin work

 

sounds good we coudl do it prior to next midnight madness? gives us liek 3 weeks to set it up and stuff

 

So kinda thinking about the HKS Hi Power, I know ryan had it did you like how it sounded?

 

its a single tip is what he had.. looks bad but soudns nice

 

Yea i know its single tip but it is a really nice exhaust other than that from what i have seen.

 

You could always leave another tip in the opposite side so it looks like a twin but it really a single.

 

yeah you could hang a tip on the other side for looks but we know its single tip so id make fun of you all the time. haha

 

We might make fun of you, but the rest of the world would be left clueless unless you told them.

 

I think i would rather be laughed at for the missing tip instead of people noticing the the other tip isnt even doing anything. I once saw a car like that and the other tip was a straight piece of pipe about 4 inches long so if you were behind it during the day you could see straight through the pipe.

Anyway im thinking the middle of next month im probably gonna order it. But **** i gotta get books for school.

Adam the Hi power is a pretty decent exhaust but its just loud and the single tip kinda sucks sometimes...I prolly would have gotten something different instead...If I were you, go greddy SE..dual heated tips and sounds really good! videos dont really do justice but my friend had it on his 8 and sounded very very good! and nobody has it around here

I finally got an rx8 and I live in St. Louis (west county area) I'd love to see some rx8's around the area. It would be nice to get together for cruise

As far as the exhaust goes two reasons im thinking HKS instead of Greddy is that i can get the HKS about 300 dollars cheaper and also i am wanting something that is just loud i might even get a midpipe with it after a little while. Who knows though i still have about a month before im going to order anything for sure so things may change. At first I thought i was going Turbo XS for sure but just last night chanded my mind.

 

I wouldnt trade my exhaust for any other one period... that being said the Hi Power did sound very nice

 

ohh midpipe with single tip your looking probably too loud to be honest.. i have heard it and the car it was on was crazy loud. then midpip loudens and tunes it pretty much. fyi you will ALWAYS have a CEL light on with a midpipe unless you do some small modification to add a o2 sensor but its not that big of a deal ill ask the other guys how they got rid of theirs.

Racer im west county as well. chesterfield wildwood area. im always down to meet up. we normally hit the valley meets on thursdays but this week is abust. i have ahockey game and stuff so i wont be making it and the rest dont seem to be making the drive. hrmmm yeah woo time for my test.

OH YEAH ryan sounds good. just let me know when. i can meet you at your place or we can do it here. i just hope the bubls i got are the same.. they dont seem like it to me but im no bulb master.

Yep thats what they look like they are LEDs afterall, just be very careful when handling them make sure not to touch the bulb because finger grease will affect bulb life

i think after everyone found out ryan no longer has an 8 they decided to buy them. ha ha sorry ryan. when does everyone start goin with school again? i know charlie said towards the end of august which is the same as me. We should try and schedule a meet for like the weekend or two before classes start.

 

I know Brett are you freaking kidding me!!!?!?!! Finally people start getting on here when I dont have my 8 anymore this sucks lol You guys need cool passengers anyway to make your 8 look more cooler anyway so I'll be glad to handle that job haha and yeah bigs we can do it at my place if you want
