Official Chicago/MW Dyno Day
I like some of the dark stuff. Goose Island Nut Brown is a good one and its brewed right there in Chicago.
What side effect? Maybe a few lost brain cells, a case of the munchies, and a whole lot of doing nothing. Thats a normal day for some people.

That's another element to the MM/CRH team that many are not aware; he brings the dark beer and I bring the weed. Together it's a perfect match! That's the part about these meets that people tend to forget to mention when they are concluded(side effect of the good ganja)!
I'm sure there will be people down there just to be down there, which was my original intent. IF I can get my hands on an AccessPort for my car that day I would most def be interested in a dyno run or two.
I have zero mods on my car so a dyno tune isn't a big thing for me. Later this summer that will change. So I'm not to worried about getting the car dyno'd.

MazdaManiac should be able to bring a couple of extra AccessPORTs with him to Chicago but I would suggest sending him an Email (ap@mazdamaniac.com) and telling him you want one. I believe the cost is $695 for the AccessPORT
As far as a dyno tune, if you are planning on getting the AccessPORT then I suggest having it dyno tuned now because this might be your only chance. You never know how long it will be before MazdaManiac makes another tuning trip to the Midwest.

I've lived here 30 yrs. The previous 20 was in Michigan. That is a place that is even worse for predicting the weather. During the winter, there is barely a sunny day. Lake effect from that big puddle to the west does that.
Hey I am putting my AFE short shifter in the for sale forum. Before I do I want to give the Dyno crew a chance to buy it. That way I save shipping and so do you. I like the shorter throws but not the notchyness it causes. $230
It will go for sale to the rest of the forum members tomorrow night.

It will be interesting to see what he can get out of a ported engine. I think I wouldn't be able to be away from my car while tuning and dynoing was in progress.
I say, "Go For It"!!! Everybody has always wanted to know what that porting has done for your engine so it is the perfect opportunity to find out. Plus, you get to have Jeff maximize it with a tune. Its a win win.
