Ha, welcome to Fargo. Not much to do here, especially this time of year. Well it all depends on what you want to do I guess.

Haha word. I'm originally from Lockhart, TX Moved here about 11 years ago. Holiday inn is right by the mall and a couple movie theaters. Umm if you want to go to the bars, 2 of the more popular ones would be Bucks (countryish and some hiphop) and The Hub (there's a few bars inside).

What kind of business work are you doing in town?

I may be moving from Louisiana to Dickinson within the next month. The oilfield is going dead here so it's time to move on.

I'll be initially driving the 8 from Louisiana to Dickinson then flying back to drive the wife and pup up.

ya we are looking to get more rain I think. We're all hoping it freezes to buy us some time and slow the flooding down. My classes have been canceled. I'll prolly go down to sandbag central and help out the next few days.

Keep telling me about the cold and the storms and I may just stay in La and draw unemployment.

I'm supposed to be driving up in couple of weeks to start work and I'm rolling Falken Azenis on the 8.

This should be fun...

I wish it was still cold.....our whole city of fargo has the possibility of flooding because of rapid thawing, and all the snow we got this winter.

Bee Afraid, be very afraid.

umm my 8 is in the garage. some of our dikes are leaking and not holding up. It's been kinda crazy around here. Some parts of Fargo have been evacuated already. Everyone has been helping like crazy. My back and arms are sore. I'm heading back to the Fargodome in a bit to help fill more sandbags. So far we've filled about 3 million sandbags and we're looking to fill another 500 thousand. fun stuff.
