NEW RX8 OWNER HERE... St Peters Mo !!!!
Yeah! i went out and brought home a rx8 . It is a blue rx8 with the navigation. I like it so far.... i've been thumbing through some stuff on here and i like the potential mods... is there anything cheap i can do... yeah i say cheap due to my good ol payemtn being in the mid 400's ... yeah i know ouch!! but i'll manage but will just be getting buy till i refinance it in 6 months!!

Welcome to the 8. I am not from around here (so I dont know the towns, etc) but when I was leaving 24hr fitness I saw a blue 8. Dont know if it was you or not but worth the mention.

I think there will be quite a few of us over at Gateway this Sunday (13th) for the autocross event. Come on out...the fun usually starts around 10:00am for those that are spectating or 8:00am if you feel the need to jump in and run your car.

Could we drive there together...? i mean you follow me or vise versa..... i think when there are a group or the same make and model cars just going down the higway it's freakin bad a$$!!!! anyways just a thought???

Whether we organize a caravan and drive together or not, I want as many 8s as possible at the autox. Anyone that hasn't done it should definitely come hang out/watch or even drive. Its a real rush

Good question... and good idea...
I'll be doing a Koni shock install in Wentzville at Modena's this Saturday and an autocross on Sunday. Hopefully the weather will hold up for us. Not sure who or if anyone else will be showing up, though. Terretsboy is back at school in Ohio and chico elder will be at a football game in Philly. That leaves fisherdn and baseballgenius to do the rest of the RX-8 representin' at the race (if they can make it). Hopefully we can talk spoiledblk8 into driving this time. Hell, I'll even offer up my car to her.
Of course I'll have no idea how to set the car up for the first run with the new shocks installed. All in a good day's fun!

Well, I won't be at the race Sunday. Going to the Cardinals vs Cubs game at Busch with my dad this Sunday. Sorry to dissapoint boys and girls. Unavailable on Saturday also, helping the girlfriend's dad move. Busy weekend. Good luck to all the 8's that run Sunday.

modena is the name of a recently "ex" RX-8 owner. He's gone to the dark side and bought a hemi Dodge Charger but we don't hold that against him. We usually do installs, drink a couple beers, talk cars, and hop in the pool. I think for tomorrow (Saturday) I'll just be cleaning the filter on the Revi intake and find a way to install shocks without losing my racing alignment. Should be fun. Even maryland heights would be ok place i guess....... not downtown.... that's just too far really for me.. i hate putting miles on my rex... i just love her too uch to do that to her.

TRUE... but.... i'm just one who yes enjoys the redlining... (spelling on that)?? lol whatever.. anyways i hate driving far deep in st louis if i don't have to. I would like to chat with the missouri rex owners on here in person yes. But just been so busy lately that's all.
