Is there any body that lives in Missouri that has there RX-8 right now.

 

Nope. And no word from my dealer other than "any day now"; which she's been saying for about a week and a half.

 

Same here! My dealership got one in yesterday that was not even a pre-order car.....that they are trying to sell for $2200 over MSRP. How F'd up is that?

I ordered mine back in February. My dealer just called me and said they are in Kansas City now. They came in on train from Tacoma and they are putting on trucks now to come to St. Louis. They should be here by mid week if all goes well. Did anyone get theirs at Auffenberg Mazda??

 

still no one in missouri. I'm in kc and still no car. Hopefully later today. Got my release from port on 7/11 it should be here. Why isn't it?

 

Well I called Bommarito Ellisville this morning. They said all their cars are being held up until the end of the month, possibly August while "accesories" are being installed. I did not order any port options because I didn't want the car to be delayed, but the sales manager added on the spare tire to help me out. When I complained he said "we'll just take it out and not charge you", which doesn't help the car get here any faster, of course. Grrr.

I guess I'll give them until the end of the week. If it's still not there, I'm seriously thinking about just asking for my deposit back, and waiting to buy one in the fall when I have a shot at negotiating. Or maybe just bailing all together.
