That is the plan for everyone in this thread. Espically at a course like Road America. It wouldn't hurt to get a session on a track with no walls. Me and RedDevil are going to be trying to get out to Gingerman here once more before Road America. You are more than welcome to go with even though I know it would be a long drive for you.

lol, down at Road Atlanta one of the RX7 guys said he was going to tape a foam finger on top of his roof to let other cars by.

He was pretty funny.

Hey I actually know that name I saw him this passed weekend on the speed channel. Maybe I should get those yellow caution lights the highway construction workers use.

devildog1679: Read the attached document before you go. It is meant for road racing, but all most all the information applies to track days.

nicely done sir!

Tech begins at 630, I would assume that the group will be there around 7, if the past is any guide.

Thanx for the info, I'll go over it. Where do you think would be the best place to put the #'s on the vehicle. On the Windows, front or back or on the doors?

Have you driven on the road america course before? Is it a difficult one?

you HAVE to put them on the doors. Has to be a contrasting color.

I think we will just setup where we find a good spot. It will be pretty hard to miss us.

On the registration it asked if you wanted #'s, I said yes and it cost me $10. I'll call them and make sure that they actually give me the #'s to place on my car.

R.A. is easy. you mainly just have to get your braking points down then make a 90 degree turn. There are exceptions. 7-8 you don't use the brakes. 10 you accelerate all the way through. 11 separates the men from the boys. 13 all most isn't a corner. Heavy braking occures at corners 5 & 12. Corner 1 is decepive. It is a lot faster than you think.
Basicly, if you have to break for a corner, you will be in 2nd gear. The rest of the corners on the track are 3rd gear. You will probably shift to 4th just before turn 11 (never shift in a corner).
