Been seeing quite a few RX-8's out there now that weather is better. Surprised there aren't more of them at least visiting the site.

If you guys could get all 43 RX8s to attend the XCeed speed BBQ and roll in with the A2SC caravan on 5/10, I'd gladly pay $5 to every car owner.

That would be a sight to see and well worth $215 in photos.

Im going to Waterford Hill Road Race course in Clarkston MI. for an Open Track Day. www.waterfordhills.com I know there will be at least 2 RX-8s there along with STI's Porsches and a bunch of other cool cars pushing it to the limits. Everyone is welcome to go and watch or go to the web site and register to run the event. All experience levels are welcome, There will be instructors to teach newbies the racing line.

well i had the car up here for my senior year, then i decided to sell it for money for college(i couldnt stand seeing my parent struggling) so i drove it back down to lake worth thinking i could sell it faster there well that didnt happened, and my parents seen how i felt about selling my car so they kept on making excuses such as "we want to keep the car for ourselves", so yep long story cut short the car is parked in my parents' garage since october '07...it kind of suck, like somedays pass where i forget i even own a rx8, but at least i can keep the mileage down while doing research about all the mods for it

What is it about Ann Arbor and Titanium Gray?? I see 4 of us in the AA area. No other color is as strongly represented in one area.

I've been seeing a (dirty) red RX-8 driving around the Dexter area a lot lately but haven't seen it parked so I could talk to the driver.

Yup, I would qualify for this category. The only good colour of the group has moved back to Canada; yes, I still have the 8, didn't find any buyers before I left so I imported it to Canada. You still may see me at an event or two over the summer as I still work in Saline about every 3 weeks.

 

We gotta have a Lightning Yellow -- can't lose our only one! So, I edited the list to "Canada/Saline (work)"

Ti Gray checking in! I live in Plymouth, but work in Ann Arbor so I guess I can add to the strange collection of our centralized color. I have been a owner/lurker since early 05 but somehow overlooked this thread!

 

I am stock, 6 speed, sport package. Oh wait I have splash guards, haha.

 

I hope to have a few mods by next month. I am in the process of selling my R6 so I should have some cash to buy wheels since I already need tires, and I have a annoying exhaust rattle somewhere so I think I should just replace the whole thing.

 

I'm sad to say that my 8 will have resided in MI for only 2 months before a move to CT... I'm moving in mid-June, just giving a heads up..

 

Sad to see you go Jenn...Let me know if you ever come back to visit this side of the state.

so how abundant/available are 8's there in michigan? i'm moving out to AA in the fall and am starting to get the itch for an 8 again...wonder if i should pick one up here in soCal before i go and take it with me =P

I got a better job in CT.. I'm originally from Western NY and I love the East Coast. A lot of my friends are out there and 90% of my family.. I'll still be about 5.5 hours away from home but that's drivable compared to 10 hours where I am right now.. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet more of you!

 

I'm going to throw you a going away rx8 party... granted... it's on the east side and all, but cmon you know you AND everyone else that missed out on the BBQ wanna come.

 

If you can squeeze it in before next Thursday and make it a touch closer to me, I'd be able to make it. Since I have 2 cars now, I'm driving the 8 out to CT next weekend and leaving it at a friend's place so when I really move, I only have my winter beater.

 

Well I would say come to Mt. Clemens for the car show and we could have it there and then walk or drive back to my place for a stellar bbq, haha... it's suppose to be nice for once, but we'll see how that goes. What do you do BTW?
