Here is my typical plug for an upcoming event. It's the Woodward Dream Cruise this Saturday, August 18th.
The Michigan Rotary Club (That is Mazda Rotary, not the old guys gathering in a church fellowship hall or country buffet) will be hosting a meeting spot on the cruising loop. The lot they have is private and there is plenty of room for us to join in. Most of the MIRotaryClub.net members are RX-7s so I'd like to show them that RX-8s have some representation too!
There will be a cookout at 11:00-ish in the morning. Please feel free to bring something if you wish. If you just want to stop by, that's OK too.

Rich from MIROTARYCLUB.NET organized the whole thing. We had a grill and there was a ton of food under the tent.
It was a great time. I met up with some really good folks. Hopefully we can get more 8 owners out there next year.

I think we should. I couldn't make the August one you mentioned casedogg. Out of town for a couple weeks. I still don't know where all the 8 owners are in Lansing, I know of at least 3 others in this area. 2 red ones (besides mine) & a silver live in this area, for sure.

Hello everyone!!! Finally found the RX-8 club of Michigan.
2004/Titanium Gray/6-Speed MT/ Jungleagent/Grand Rapids.
I have only seen 4 in town. Red, Black, White and my Titanium Gray.

Hey all, I am currently residing in Iowa, however I am originaly from Grand Rapids and I do make it a point to travel back to Michigan several times a year. Hopefuly I can time a trip back during a meet.

Nothing that I am aware of at this time. My guess is we are done till Spring. Are you coming back to the Detroit Metro area this Fall or next Spring? Would love to have you at a Meet and update all the drivers on what can be done and what you offer.

Really? I thought you had already moved. But, I must admit, I'm not a stalker on your movements, so I'm not surprised that my thinking is wrong.
I wonder if there might be a time before you move that we could set up to have you talk to the Michigan drivers that might be interested. I know I would enjoy seeing what you have done to your car and hearing about possible modifications.
