It was my first time out at that event. Sadly I was only able to be there for the last hour or so, but still saw many interesting cars. Alot of BMWs out. Next month I plan to get out on time with something resembling sleep in me. Still, all in all it was a good time out for me. Thanks AkursedX for putting that up.

 

Hey guys, Im headed up to Michigan to visit a few family and friends in mid-june and was wondering if there is anything going on locally around that time. Born and raised in the U.P. lol

 

I couldn't get a buddy to go with me and the gf had to work. I'll most likely be at a lot of events after April as I'll have my new wheels on and my car will be clean. It looks so dirty right now with all the cold weather we're getting and no chance to give it a bath.

 

ill be in michigan as well around june to visit family and friends. but ill be around the macomb county area and warren county as well. anything going on in june???

I love Grattan. I've been on that track more than any other.

 

Anyone going to the Rolex Grand-Am race on Belle Isle? Indy lights and Cadillacs are also racing that day (Saturday). I am going and was hoping to see some other rotorheads there.
I'll be there with my 4yr old for his first race event. I've got my tickets.

 

Racing is on Saturday right? It's only 40 minutes from my house so I may go if the girlfriend isn't working.

 

i use to go there when i lived in michigan ill go when i come visit in june... they also cruz on gratiot and 11 mile on every weekend. i think thats roseville area.

 

helllz yeah, maybe we could roll out there in our mazdas together? (not trying to be a creep lol). ive only seen one rx8 at woodward so far and it a silver with a greddy turbo. to bad hes selling it.

 

Buddy works for FSD and might be able to get me into the Grand-Am race for media day this Thursday. Get to check out the pits and he said possibly drive in one of the race cars. Hopefully I get the chance. I'll be sure to take pictures if I go that day.
