I got the 225/45/18 Hankook Ventus v12 evos. Only needed two so it came out to be $380 from discount tire with the lifetime certificate warranty and all of that. If i didn't get the certificates it would have been about $330 out the door and thats including installation. I had to price match from onlinetires.com which have them for $130 per a tire but after shipping from that website they come out to be $140/tire so thats the price discount tire matched. And then with the valve stems, tpms rebuild kit, the stupid tire disposal fee, installation, warranty and tax it finally came out to be $380 lol. Honestly it was definitely worth it because I was gonna get the tires from discount anyway and they were charging me about $470 with their warranty "out the door" for the same set up. Saved about 90-100 with the price match so I would recommend you do the same if you went with them for any set of tires. Here are mine, hope this helps.

I have it. Works fine. Install is an afternoon if you're handy. Label everything so as to not get wires mixed up. Taking off the engine lifting fixture (3 bolts and an ounce of antifreeze) makes the install easier.

You're not trying to run 87 octane are you?

I have used 87 octane in my car since about 2006. On the dyno I lost about 3hp peak, but I gain about 3mpg, so it's worth it. 87 = 17mpg mixed. High octane = 14mpg mixed.

re: Coils - best to replace one at a time to avoid ANY chance of messing things up. I think I did mine in about an hour. I used the DIY here on the board.

re: Tires - Just installed (yesterday) Conti DWSs. MUCH quieter and comfortable than my previous advan AD07s. Course, I only have about 100 miles on the new tires. Went to Van's Tire Center in Richmond, who matched Discount's price.

I have installed the BHR system as well. It certainly does feel more lively and powerful and I usually run with 87 octane unless autocrossing or track day.

SPEAKING OF AUTOCROSSING and TRACK DAY.
Anyone has any idea who organizes these things in Michigan??? since I came here last fall.

I need some autocrossing and track day time.

preferably around Grand Rapids.

I could probably help you. Money isn't necessary though. You on the North or South side of DBN HTS?

The Michigan Rotary Club did something like that last year in May. I'm sure we'll probably do it again this year.

Any recommendations on a body shop to go to around southeast MI? I need a fender roll and I'm located in Riverview.
