Evolv-Chicago Meets HERE...
LOL! RD keeps trying to get peeps to pay dues .. yea you keep tryin dude.
yea izzin, when it came to organization liek that, i think we all said ... too much. the reason i liek this group is that its laid back, and there is only the commitment level you choose to make. you dont even have to check in if you're going to a meet, you just show up.
but thats just my opinion, everyone else feel free to chime in!

That's a kind offer to front the money Izzin, however, I'm wary simply because I don't want to see the group getting into a who paid and who didn't, who contributed and who didn't, type disputes.
I think we are very laid back, as a whole. (Like me always prodding and teasing about collecting dues.)
It's really not that much money, though. So if the thought was to support something like that, then I'd have no problem pitching in for it.

Can be as formal or as informal as possible. I want it to be laid back, but having our own space would be nice. In particular having our own library of chicago based information and events. IE, any special deals we have gotten from local vendors.
I have no problem maintaining the site.. I dont want to push anyone into it. Just looking at interest.

Maybe we can have a spot on Rotory Car Club of Chicago when they get that back up. I did give them a Compaq Proliant server to use for that site
Haha, I'm invading your thread!
Even though I'm no where near you guys, just wanted to compliment you on what seems to be a really well organized and fun meet!
Next time I'm out in Chi-Town I'll have to check in on you guys.
Oh, and that 'bread crumbs' advice on the navigation is AWESOME!
Well, now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

May join you all at a different night since I had a business dinner in Schuamburg.
Probably won't be done until 9 PM, then I will head back to the city lake front.
I like my 04' RX8 (Silver, Grand Touring, Appearance, Rotary Accent Package, Nav., 6 speed M) so far except for the service from the dealership near me, AutoBahn in Evanston.
May have to try Jacobs Twin and see. Otherwise, I may even drive it a little this winter if
the road is not tooooooo slippery for the tires. Later
