Supposedly I'm getting the car back late tomorrow...good thing I had them right down the exact mileage and have a copy of that...keeps away any "test drives."

In addition to writing down my mileage before I drop it off, I also turn on the "bread crumb trail" option in my navigation system so I can watch where they took their "test drives". I likes to keep 'em honest
^ woah, i do not know about this option. where is said bread crumb option? i will sooooooooo do this next time im in fer service.
:scratches head and wonders how much other stuff she does not know:

I finally found a reason for wanting navigation. But I'd still rather have guages in that spot.
I saw my previous post, "right down" - I used to think I could spell and write , but apparently not.

The neat part is the Navi is always on and tracking where you go, whether you have the screen up or not... so it's not like the mechanic knows he's being "watched". It's also handy when you drive in a new subdivision that's not on our old-*** map discs, and need to find your way back out. My kids call them easter eggs, as it looks like my car is "laying" blue eggs as I drive

I have to ask, I am looking to a friend who is offering us webspace on a very fast and well connected server for $5 a month.
The portal software is $150 for a purchased license, and then $30 maintenance / year (after the first year).
Would this be something we wish to do? By doing that, we can support more of a library function, have our own space to put up images etc..
We would then also have our own domain name..
2 sites that he already operates on the same hardware with the same portal software are.....

We discussed the idea of setting-up another site, but every one attending decided against it because of the monetary implication, and because it was too organized.
Personally, if people would pay dues to the Treasurer, ME, like they were supposed to then we could be doing this right now.
(I'm joking, there are no dues, nor am I the Treasurer. I am currently trying to arrange to accept paypal, though!)
