OK, forgive my ignorance, I'm up on most abreviations but what does woot mean?

 

woot stands for We Owned Other Team, but it is generally just a sign of happiness and excitement as demonstrated by this smiley:



So if you ever see me put both arms up in the air and say "WOOT", now you'll know why.
