I think we need to rotate the day of the week (Tue-Wed-Thu) we have these meets to keep as many members as possible involved.
Personally, I only want to attend one per weekday. Twice a week is too much.

Hey all! Greetings from your friendly organizer :D

we can meet any day you want.... there are no rules here. all i ask is if you want it posted in this thread, just come up with a day/time/place and ill be happy to post it. this way people can choose which meets they want to go to based on their own schedules. you can go to as many/few as you choose! :D and i know its hard for everyone to find times (some work weekends, nights, etc) so the more choices, the better the chance someone else can make it.

that being said, if youd like to set a meet for this wed, just let me know the details and ill be happy to post and/or email. with the weather turning fast, i dont think we have to worry about too many meets ... the day will soon arrive when most of you (bah!) will garage your car for the winter :D

 

I'm still planning on the Thursday meet, but if everyone wanted to switch it to Wed, that would also work for me.

You'll go crazy trying to please everyone scheduling events. Or the event will never happen. That is why I suggested rotating the day of the week.

 

For this week, if there'll be two than I'll just stick with the Thursday meet.

I'm all for moving the meet to Wednesday for this week but I prefer to keep it at Qdoba in Schaumberg. That way hopefully, Racewar can make it. It would be nice to meet him. Two meets in one week is a bit too much IMHO. I can only take so much of Al in one week

Besides, better to have one big meet rather than two small meets. And let's set a new attendance record this week (6 cars is the number to beat).

 

I'm surprised nobody has wanted to choke me yet either.....

 

LOL, consider the meet moved to Wednesday. I'll change the first post to reflect that and send out an email to keep everyone posted on this week's events :D

Cool I am down for a Wednesday meet and QDoba.

 

I ordered some new wheels today for my RX-8.

They are 18x8s SSR GT2s. They only weigh 16.8 lbs which is pretty good for an 18" rim. The 18" OEMs weigh somewhere around 21-23 lbs each IIRC.

I didn't buy them for looks but I think they look pretty nice too.

 

Wheels look pretty nice. 18X8's, that's our stock wheel size, correct? So you won't be able to go any wider than what 245's?
