i was talking to FlyBoyINDY who says hes the president of the Indy RX-8 Club and that hes comming to a feb 13th wes mini meet. woot woot

 

FlyBoyINDY is a really good guy. I met up with him and a dozen or so other Indy owners last year for a benefit car show in Indy. It was a great time. They won the best club participation award and I won the furthest distance award. I plan on attending a couple more show this summer with the Indy club.

OK folks, the schedule has been posted. Some changes this year: we will not be publicly posting locations on this forum anymore. The times/locations will be contained in emails that will go out to EVOLV-Chicago members only.

If you'd like to join EVOLV-Chicago, please see the first post of this thread to find out who to contact for registration. We do not sell, spam, or share your information. There will now be an option to unsubscribe at the bottom of each email.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the committee leader for that particular item. Committee leaders are listed in the first post as well.

Track/Auto Cross/etc. events are not listed yet, as the schedules are still being posted. We will update the first post as often as we can to keep it current.



Thank you to EVERYONE who came out last Saturday to our planning meeting! It was a huge success (as you will see by the varied schedule). Hope 2008 is a ton of fun for all!!!!

How much advance notice will these location emails have - I'd like to plan ahead for some of these that may be closer to me...

 

Um ... well we're still trying to get things organized. I'll let everyone know when the schedule goes from "preliminary" to "set in stone."

It's hard because a lot of stuff hasn't been posted yet on supporting websites. We have to wait for their schedules before we can finalize ours. Frustrating

Hello guys and girls. My name is Jackson Gregg and I've recently been elected into the position of PR Rep. for the IndyRX8Club.... so I wanted to say hello to you all and introduce myself. I understand that there are several hours between the two cities and that we probably won't interact that often, but I'd like to make sure that our two clubs are in good standing and that if the situation were to arise, that we could come together at/for an event or function. I've met a few Chicago guys at some Indy meets and I understand that one or two of our guys have come up for some of your events. Anyway, like I said, I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I hope that 2008 is a great year for you guys/girls. It looks like it's going to be the best year yet for the Indy Club.

Glad to hear that your year is looking good! Ours is shaping up well also as we just released our 2008 schedule!
