Al, when I purchased my first RX-3 back in '73 I thought it would gain me more respect than what myself and those like me are receiving. Even during the oil embargo I drove my RX-3 on Hoosier tires to work every day 50 miles one way, uphill through the snow in a blizzard.

 

Actually, I wanted a RX3SP in a bad way. They all of a sudden disappeared in the 80's, so I settled for a RX7.

 

RX-3s are very cool. IMO, the RX-8 is the descendent of that car, not the RX-7.
