It just depends on where everyone is located at in the city. Im in the Hyde Park area. Im not sure as of where we can have it. Need to think somemore and maybe drive around. Maybe Eden Park near Mt. Adams? Thats one place thats real nice when its sunny out. I just dont know how many cincy people are on this forum to actually have "a meet."

We need to get more people. I know there is a very beautiful chick that goes to UC that drives a silver 8. I see her every now and then in the same parking garage as me. I would like to get alot more people before anything is final.
kevin, i'll be at the meet saturday. hopefully there will be some functional 7s up there too.
moete87, we should get together and blanket UC and Xavior with flyers or something. it's bound to draw some kind of attention.

Cool nodoz sounds like we are going to be the only rotaries at the meet .
Iam going to work that day but get off at 5:00pm. If you need to call me at langs mazda.. pic of my 8 so you know how to look for.

It was a good time, at least it didn't rain.

i swear if one more blue 8 showed up i would have seriously contemplate leaving
i was cool to see some people who actually owned rotary cars though. after most of you left, three of the rx7s and me went to get something to eat. we pulled into this steak 'n shake lot and there was this guy in this riced out honda crx with his girlfriend looking dumbfounded at all the rotarys pulling in.
now i just need to see about getting some rims.

Sounded like a great time. Wish I could of made it. I could of added alittle mix to the car color scene. I have a black 8.
I saw a blue 8 today on 71 going north by ridge road. A gorgeous blonde chick was driving it. But she was driving very slow...I think 50-55.

OU as in Ohio University? I just graduated from there this past year and just moved out to Cincy....living out in Florence. Completely new to the area...still figuring it all out.
To continue the trend of new experiences....I just also bought my RX8 3 days ago
I was in Industrial Technology over in Stocker. You?
I don't remember seeing too many RX8's in town....did you happen to live off Stimpson next to KFC?
At that time, I drove a black Jetta on 18" OZ's with a turbo kit.
I never realized how much I would miss that town until I left....just went back for St Paddy's and had a blast!

Do you guys know any girls in the cincy area that drive an 8? I have seen 2. One goes to UC and drive a silver 8. Ive been meaning to leave her a note on her car to see if she would want to come to a meet. Just havent gotten around to doing so. Whats autox? I think I know, refresh my memory. Sorry.
yes we need to meet up.
congrats on the purchace 18bsTiRX8.
i'm contemplating going to the place in sharonville to autox, but i'm still a little concerned i may damage my car. as far as women driving 8s, i've only seen 2, but never got to talk to either of them, and there was this one chick who bitched out my manager and called our corporate office at my job - but that was before i got the 8 (she'd have really bitched if she found out my rx8 wasn't a rental).
btw there is a drift event in beavercreek tomorrow (sunday) that i may be going to. just mapquest this address:
1166 Dayton-Xenia Rd.
Xenia, Ohio 45385

I hear the Sharonville autox events are the better of the Cincy events. I haven't been to say first hand, but I hear no curbs and a smooth lot so its prob the safest on the car. Keeping in mind that I am still a rookie at autox, I'd say its pretty safe on the car....maybe use a little painter's tape if your worried about scuffing the paint on the cones.
If you go to the one in Sharonville April 30, let me know...I am registered to compete in my first event in the 8!
