Anyone here? Looked like it had just been brought up from Valet parking, or was waiting to be parked. Didn't have time to go see it up close as I was being dragged off by my coworkers.

had a seminar thing thurs-yesterday, came home this morning. You guys have the WEIRDEST weather. It was in the 60s when we got there, and it was snowing when we left. And the wind..oh my god... next time, I'll know to bring clothes for all seasons. Almost froze walking Michigan Ave last night.

 

We have a saying here "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute." I would suppose the opposite works too.

 

It's the Windy City. It's pretty much a running joke around here that having weathermen in Chicago is useless.

 

Like a dummy, we all brought summer/spring clothes with light sweaters- you can imagine how we were doing by the end of everything. We thought we were okay when we got there because of all the flowers blooming- if you've got tulips blooming, it CAN'T be that cold, right? HA!

It really is a beautiful city, though, and I would very much like to come back for a few days just to see everything. I'll just have to bring my entire wardrobe next time :D

 

This has been a crazy month- it started with lots of 70's, then we had quite a few hot days in the mid 80's... then last week the temp dropped almost 30 degrees in just a couple hours. Then it snowed on Saturday, and back to 70 today. I remember thinking I would enjoy the seasons again when I moved away from Florida, but I didn't expect to experience all 4 seasons in one week

 

Wow.. crazy weather in Chicago.. kinda glad i'm out west..

 

Almost thought this was me. But my car wasn't parked there. I drive by the Swissotel every morning and afternoon on my way to and from work.

 

Awww quit rubbing it in already. You just moved ya frickin transplant. So how's Vegas? Broke and living in a refrigerator box yet?

Funny thing about that- I was in Las Vegas the week before Chicago. THAT was some nice weather
