What area are you from. I'm in the north bullitt co. area just south of okalona. What types of questions do you have. I have rotards at my house almost everyday. The autozone by my house is run by a rotard. If I don't know the answer I can usually get it really quick.

 

I'm from England! =D what's rotard?? First of all, where would I find the oil sump and and screw thing to drain the oil?

Oil drain will be on the oilpan. You have to look thru a hole in the underbody panel. So your from England. Thats a little bit of a haul from Ky. lol. A rotar = someone who loves a rotary engine along with its quirks.

 

You can always post a question here or IM someone on the site, although not the fastest for responses.

What would likely be best is to use this website to find your answers about the RX8. Use Google to search because this site's search is not that good. On Google type " site:rx8club.com keyword keyword". Obviously substitute 'keyword' with whatever you are looking for. Yeah its sorta a little bit of a hall. Its mainly highway. Its a really nice show. just about every car you can think of shows up. Last sat there was a spyker a few Maserati's lots of Porsche's and corvettes and the list goes on. It really is a nice show to attend and donate money to a good cause if you feel the need.

 

We had 5 RX8s show up. Great turn-out! Event though the event only is for two hours (9-11) it is a good time if you like cars.
It's just a gathering of local car enthusiast just pulling out the toys and cool dailies. The group of us Mazda folks just hung out and talked cars. Good times.

It's every second Saturday of every Month. Maybe we can plan a Mazda Luch meet right after next month's event.

 

that might work. I mean I know Tiff and her husband have to come all the way from bardstown I think. Would make it a little more worth their time.

Hey guys in a month or so want to get together on a Saturday morning and cruise down to Lexington I got a few friends in Cincinnati that will join in cruise around grab a bite or what not

 

I'm from Boone County, about 10 minutes from Cincinnati.

 

We will not see the rx-9 in the usa,epa?

 

As far as I know the RX? car will not be available anywhere for awhile. They are still working on the next gen rotary engine. They just finished up the RX8 production in japan. I don't look for anything to show up till 2015. Good thing is mazda has said many times the rotary is not dead. They feel its a part of their heritage.
