I got it started. I had it towed to the shop on post here at fort knox and they said they didnt want to touch it cause its a rotary.... and I would have to get it towed to oxmoor mazda. I just keep doing some reserach and just found it was flooded. I did the pull the fuel pump fuse out method and after a few tries it started right up. I I changed the oil and that got rid of the check ingine light and the car has been running right as rain . I guess not drving the car for 30 days would cause the engine to flood. Oh you silly rotary lol
Hello. Don't really post, but first time for everything. I have a pearl white 05. Sadly it's at, but it was the right price. New engine has only 15k on it, but I'm getting the misfire cel. Paul miller said I needed plugs, wires, n coils. Only 15 k I find this hard to swallow at 855.00. I am no handyman, but I am gonna buy the parts on line. If someone wanted to make a cool hundy burger and install for me, we might do business. I live in lex, work in Georgetown. Any takers hmu! Thanks!! Btw I only drive it in manual mode, and I redline it a couple times a week. No little old lady here...lol

The best parts range between 580-640 Black Halo Racing Ignition System | Black Halo Racing this coils have not failed anyone so far. Plugs will always need replacing though. I live in Irvine but can also do it in Berea. If your interested PM me and will negotiate cost.

Just moved to Lexington, KY from New York, looking for friends/good options for taking my 8 to get work done on it. I need to replace the clutch and Master/Slave, swap in a midpipe, do something about the air intake situation, and a lot of upkeep maintenance and little mods. Anybody chill that is nearby and has or knows a decent shop, preferably where I can do at least some of the work myself?

been looking for a new project for minute. found an 04 rx8 and rolled with it. always been hesitant to go rotary but now that i have one, i'm intrigued. been researching for a couple weeks now but kinda wanna find some peeps with real world experience. i have a mild plan for what i wanna do, but its all still in pipe dream phase and i still have alot more to study.
I live in Louisville a little north of the forest and have a pair of velocity reds hiding in my garage, one currently under going a heart transplant and the other gets driven occasionally in the warmer months. My brother lives just over the river and has a 40ae that's a couple shades of grey. Besides ours, I rarely see 8s these days.
