Any clubs in OH? I don't have my 8 yet, but will very soon. Was looking ahead of time for any clubs to cruise with.

 

We don't have a club yet, but I think we need one. You going to rotary revolution?

 

I'd love to, but I'm actually still waiting for my dsm to sell before I buy my own 8 =( It's taking way too long IMO. This doesn't prevent me from going, but it'd be much more fun to roll up with a rotary to a rotary event.

I went to Wright State for a year. Also my gf is from Dayton and has family there, I'm sure she wouldn't mind goin up with me for a cruise sometime with you guys. Know any other 8's in the area?

 

I know about 35 of them within two hours of you getting together April 30th - May 2nd!

Indeed! I do believe rotor8U and I are going to meet up and merge with the Columbus crew. Gonna be sweet! I'm actually helping rotor8U pull the engine from his TII.. I need to get him in on this thread now. It should be ready for next year's event. Both of you are welcome to join us.

What's up man! It was funny when you pulled up next to me because I saw this shape out the corner of my eye and thought to myself "uh oh, that looks like a badass car.. maybe I shouldn't look over for fear of being egged on" Looked over and it was an 8. haha. Nice seeing' you on here!

Are any of you guys with SRDU? I was just there tonight and i was the only RX-8. But a bunch of EVO's were there. It was a pretty good turn out but it was pretty chilly so i left.

Well it stands for Street Racing Dayton Underground. Don't worry there arent any races there if you arent in to that. Basically anybody with a half decent car tuned or riced up comes and hangs out just talkin cars. Its not to bad of an event but lately ther have been some misunderstandings about the location. Where does everybody cruise at in Dayton/Fairborn/Beavercreek areas on the weekends or whenever? I sometimes ride the RX8 through WSU but I dont see too many people rolling out. I just moved here from Tampa, FL. Where is everybody???

 

I saw that blue RX8 rollin down COL GLENN with brake dust for days, and then on 675 with the chunks of brake cake splattered on its wheels. CLEAN EM UP BRO!

Hello...anyway.

 

Well that probably wasn't me. I haven't seen a silver driving around in this area yet. Plus my wheels are clean... usually.

But that would be just typical if it was me.. the one time my wheels are dirty as hell and I get spotted... I'm not a fan of these brake pads.

 

I'm up near Akron in Doylestown. You guys are bringing back alot of memories for me though because I lived in Dayton for 5 years and lived on Woodman for 3 of those. So I know exactly where you guys are talking about. I haven't seen too many 8's on the road up where I live now, maybe one or two, but that's about it so I don't know if I will find anyone around here or not.

 

I tell you I saw all those bikes at Quaker Steak and Lube and thought it would be cool to get the RX-8s together from BeaverCreek, Fairborn, Huber Heights, Dayton, Centreville and Kettering and then just ride out like that. That would be awesome! Anyone going to the Car Show at WSU on Saturday?? Ranger the RX-8 is such a hot car, it turns heads with brake dust and water spots all day and night.

 

Is the WSU thing this saturday? I know SRD is having another meeting saturday night as well, i was thinking of cruising with my friends. But i might be able to stop by.

 

I think its actually today and Saturday. There is a bikini contest and subwoofer contests and a whole bunch of gimmik stuff going on. It may be rad. I just wiped out a tricked out red eclipse gsx with all kinds of mods on it on COL GLENN in 2nd gear!!!! I love the powerband on the RX8, he was going through gears and I was just listening for the bell!!!
