Hey all- I would prefer wednesday over friday, as I have a deadline that day and I like the idea of transposing the z for an s- it was right in front of me the whole time!!!!

 

It would also be nice to print some "business cards" and see if can get the local dealers to give them to new 8 buyers to get them aware that the local enthusiast club exists.

Have you guys checked out the Rocky Mountain Rotary Club site that Omicron has put together? Check it out in the Mountain forum. Could give us a few ideas.

 

So where are we meeting for lunch tomorrow (assuming that is still the plan)?

The only place I really know that is north on 72nd St. is Famous Dave's @ 72nd and Military -- any other suggestions. I would suggest that we show up at 11:30 to discuss logo/club stuff and grab a quick bite to eat and then head out for some fun roads. :D My schedule is flexible tomorrow so any times would work for me.

P.S. -- I ordered PoLaK's caliper stencils yesterday and he said he would be glad to help print decals of our logo. Also ordered the hi-perf brake pads from Vivid.

 

hello all- well my deadline was pushed back a week - so I am cool for friday- that might be better due to the rain- I would prefer the roads to be dry (since I am running the potenzas) when we hit those new roads- especially since I am not familiar with them. Cards is definitely a good idea- I kinda went to the mountain forum and did not right away see the site you are talking about. I own quite a lot of server space so we could put up anything really-so wednesday or friday is good with me- but friday would be cooler for driving.

Fri. -- 50's and rain

I think tomorrow might be a better day but I am open for either one.

 

oh wow! is the weekend to be cold and crappy>? hope not! I am fine for either day- but we should have a consensus decision by somewhat early tomorrow?? cool? cool?

Hey all- well my daughter is sick again and home- (with me cause my wife has multiple court cases today ) SOOOOO I am not going to make it either cause I don't want to take her out. I heard pollen is at incredible amounts and that might be part of your problem huskr8? ANYWAY, I have some logos and if everyone is still meeting I would like to mail then to the president and he an print them off>? we can mix and match from anything in these logos- hope you all like them if you get a chance to see them>?

I will be at the next meeting!!!! (will send you those logos as soon as I post this) yes allergies are horrible- she keeps having bouts with RSV and the allergies from pollen certainly do not help! Hope you all like the logos or at least the direction they are going- next meeting we can get started on the website!! and when is this zaino saturday>? maybe the saturday after the spring game?? (cause it looks like this one will be cold)- anyway godspeed to all!

 

OH! and by the way the logos are all vector logos- which is better for giant blowups (say your car hood ) or also for stickers such as polak could make anyway................

 

another thing- I am home and can work email but am not mapped to any servers here- sooooooooooooo if anyone is (rxhusker) you could put those logos on this board for everyone to see

Must have just missed you -- I stayed until 11:45 -- didn't look like you got the message on cancelling. Grabbed a quick sandwich at Arby's across the street and then went for a nice drive up north -- just got back -- what a great day outside!

 

Hi all- my daughter is now napping <whew!> anyhow- I apologize for the name change- just am super slammed lately- however it would not be that hard at all to change or add rather an "X" to the bottem right logo on page 19 (the one in the box right?) ALSO, Before this was all final I would remake the thing perfect- the rotor would be a lot better- but I just don't spend too much time on each one as I view them as "thumbnails" anyhow- we could still plan on friday if everyone is down? -sure does look like a good day to drive out there though

 

Good morning everyone! Hey husker8 thanx for the compliment! I just use different personalities when I design to get the different looks anyhow, does anyone else have any opinions on the logos>?

 

I like the 3rd one down (right column) in the first set the best. I would add the color like the one below it and the Husker Rotary (RX) Club aroung the edge like you did in one of the other logos.

 

I like the third down on the right-side the rotor with the HRC in it. Yeah I know I don't get to vote, but I really liked that one so I thought I'd chime in...

It'd be cool to see some shirts with that on it at the Revolution. You guys are really getting it together and active, it'd be cool to meet you.
