Personally I have met Ryan, and I feel that he has a passion for the rotary community that is unmatched.
Raz also seems like he has passion for a lot of other things, including this site.
It would be a shame for these 2 gentlemen to let themselves not be friends on the basis of something foolish like this. I think it would be a credit to both the site owner and to one of his users to shake hands and let bygones by bygones.

When I said, "But it is a community, and like any community you have to take the good with the bad," I meant exactly that. When I go to the non-regional forums it seems that every thread always ends up like this one: one or two people pissing on each other. Whether it's about site politics or whether arguing over new horsepower ratings, it's still just pissing on each other. But I still ocassionally find some good people and good topics and good information which is why I am still a member. But I am a member at other RX-8 sites and other car sites too. Guess what, the RX-8 community is bigger than this one site.
The other thing that frustrates me is the way people are constantly getting flamed for everything. And most of the time it is not from mods or administrators. And they NEVER do it in a productive way. Which one of these would persuade you to stay a member:
1. Thanks for the video, but it has been posted before. I suggest that in the future, when you want to share a video with the community, try some searches first. If you have any questions concerning the best way to get productive searches, PM me; or
2. Hey you genius of an asswipe, this video is on here like 100 times, give it a rest already. Here's a clue moron, try the search button!
It is the constant use of No.2 that led me to post the "****" satire. Did I mention Boost specifically? I didn't mention anyone, but like most satires, it was misinterpreted. Looking back, I should have kept my mouth shut, and I apologize to anyone who was offended. Anyone who wants to discuss it further can PM me.
In the meantime, altercations like the one that just happened here should immediately move to private, not in the thread. It is disappointing to read, and it turns off a lot of people from the site, especially when the owner is involved. And it ruined the last bastion of solice I had at this site.
Shana, please give the MW Forum a chance to redeem ourselves. Feel free to visit other sites, but check back with us too. I am confident you will find community here.
And RSD, you did good.

And BoostD 7, you do a fine job on the site. You cannot control every response, and I would not try. Keep in mind a community is full of all kinds of people, some good, some bad, and most of us a little of both, and ocasionally we all make mistakes. Thanks for the site, and thanks for going to Daytona to cover the 8s. If and when I ever receive my first issue of your mag - I subscribed a few months ago - I am sure the photos will be awesome.

By the way my10ae, what I said was in sarcasm. I apologize if you took it seriously. I'm just here to enjoy my ride and the other members here that have the same interests as myself. I hope we can do the same.

Not a problem. You just have to watch what you say because things you think are joking, can come across as serious. No harm, no foul.

OK, how's this:
Hey everyone, check out my new Mazdaspeed 8; I just picked it up from the dealer. By the way, the Japanese writing on the side translates as, "A lot less horsepower than a Z."

Yeah, she has forced induction all right. Twice a day she stuffs herself to the point of choking. That explains the buddha belly. She likes the Shinka better than the Mazdaspeed; more room! Whoa!

Did yours come with a spare set of tires too?
I can't race my dog cause he tries to eat it. I've got a broken suspension on my real RC car from the big b@stard pouncing on it when I didn't realize he was outside.
