So the 29th is the next meet? People bring your own Sea Foam so we can clean out our engines.
the genesis compared to other cars hyundai has made is not bad at all.

in the other hand the 370z does look weird...but i am sure it will be a nice car to track.

yeah the meet is on 3/29/09

here is what i think we should do:

1pm: meet up to decarbon the engines (those who want to do that)

3pm: The meet and grill will be at devou park (or any other park)

each of us bring food to cook.

4:30 pm: long cruise (we can do the same cruise that we did last time or we can star looking for a new road)

After cruise: maybe go get some beers haha

That sound like a great plan, steven. I would love to cook out and cruise and possibly get a beer but I'm not really down for a de-carb right now.

I ended up going to the expo on Saturday too. I was pretty impressed with the Genesis coupe. I mean a rear drive coupe with a 2 liter turbo starting at $22,000 is a pretty sweet deal.

I drooled all over the R8 and the ZR1 Vette, and was thoroughly impressed with the Cadillac CTSV, great combination of style and power. And I was caught off guard at how much i liked the Solstice coupe, it was pretty sexy, I would love to see it in red or black.

The 370Z looked better than I expected, but I'm still not a fan of the looks, maybe it will grow on me. I really liked the interior though. I'd love to test drive one and see how the rev-matching thing works.

I was a little disappointed with the R3. The recaro seats were hideously uncomfortable! Anyone with a larger build would never buy one. It looked nice, though, but I couldn't imagine dealing with those seats on a daily basis. The transmission felt pretty good compared to ours which was a plus, but if I were going to buy a 2009 I would probably just get a GT.

4. Beer
5. Go Karts
(Not in this order hahaha) that would be bad...

I created a thread dedicated to the 3/29/09 meet so lets post up ideas and suggestions for the meet there!
I will be creating similar threads on other mazda forums.

The 370 was designed to be like the poor mans gtr (which i could afford neither haha)

the hyundai should only be a 2.0t seriously, i have heard one to many lower rod knocks from any hyundai motor at work. Adding two more cylinders?? we all know cylinders are lame and boring but PSH its gonna FAIL.

Overall i was saddened at the lack of the 1.6 renesis that mazda has released! well, just pictures and minimal specs, but im thinking 250 - 275 BHP n/a since they claim 230 BHP with the 13b.

Overall i am excited to be a part of a organized group as such, just like everyone lets pray for a totalled r3 rx-8 so we can snag those recaro seats :]

EPIC HUGE!~

its a cool little town on the river in boone county..all the bikers like to ride out b.c the roads leading in and out of it are a fun little hike...but anyways on the weekends bikers and people gather there..theres a little store there that sells beer and food things....

yes they just got a new mayor..a border collie....

i like to ride from boone county down through rabbit hash then down US 42 along the river...then cross at the markland damn and drive back up along the river on the indiana side and end up at lawrenceburg...then i just jump on the e way and come back home...its a nice ride..especially on a nice day

heres some pics..not mine just got em from the net

Installed the Racing Beat Revi Intake and the Racing Beat Ram Air today. It was pretty much a straightforward install.

I will give my impressions of the RB goodness later on in the week.

Jeff I had the Racing Beat Revi8 in my car for awhile.....That damn thing was loud as hell. I liked it and I could feel a little pull.

I decided to go back to the stock look I like it better, I kept my RB Ram Air duct on and sealed it off to the stock air box, did the mod to the air box and then dropped in a nice brand new AFE filter.

And hey Jeff would I be able to buy the stock air box clips from you if you want to sell them....mine are in aweful condition??? Let me know man....
