Eden Park is out of the question now... unless you like getting shot at.

James, I hoping soon. I was thinking Saturday to head down to Fuel but the wife informed me we're headed north to Dayton. I guess I need to listen to her closer since I thought it was Sunday heading north.

The thing about Spring Grove is that it doesn't show cars well unless it's dark and gray out. I did a few of the 8 there and I'm not too thrilled by them. I guess I'm looking more at the industrial look. Now in your case, the Porsche would be better off in front of Kenwood Country Club.

I'm still on the lookout for an old gas station with the pumps still in place. There used to be one out on Rt 125 but it burned to the ground a few years ago. There's a couple gravel processing plants I've seen, but getting in there on a weekend with permission might be impossible. That liability thing comes into play a lot.

Hey guys, I know I haven't really been on here for a while, but I just wanted to drop by and let you all know that I said goodbye to my 8 yesterday. I traded it for a 2012 EVO X. Yes I know I'm totally a traitor, but damn this car is awesome. Anyway, if anyone ever wanted the "WANKEL" custom plates they are up for grabs now.

Was your dog wearing a rotor and I missed it? Sorry man, didn't see you or just figured you were waving to someone else, lol - you aren't the guy in the Statue of Liberty outfit on Main are you - he always waves at me The roads up there by Hocking indeed are amazing and many good camping spots too :-D I would be down for a run up there some time after DGRR. There is a kid who goes to King's HS that has an 8 I've been seeing around a bunch - no tint and the passenger door is crinkled some.

Well I would be happy to rape that R3 any time, lol - I think there is a group from Ohio Rotaries and the Miata club meeting and driving up to the Spring Import Face-Off at National Trail Raceway near Columbus April 21st if that is your scene or in a little over a week there is the yearly famous Deals Gap Rotary Rally in Bryson City, NC to go to. More local you could head over to Cars n Coffee in Cincy on Saturday morning at Fuel Coffee- there are some sweet rides to check out and the people are really friendly. Friday Night Lightz up at Kil-Kare Speedway in Xenia starts up again on May 3rd I believe. I don't see much going on in Lebanon though except my friend Bryan lives there and he is putting an engine back in his FB and likes spectators

maybe mother nature doesn't like terribly unmatched wheels and spoilers.

Well funny story - that wing took ZERO damage at all - says something about carbon fiber I guess

Thanks Rotary-Kytten for the response! I have been trying to get into any scene lol! I may not be able to do the Deals Gap but damn would that be fun also . I'll get on to check whats happening around the area. I could easily do any cincy or the Kil-Kare Speedway events. I just don't want to be the only person there and not have someone to chat with lol.

Cincy would be closer for me lol. When I bought my car I didn't notice I had a RB catback on it already and I think the final drive might have been changed also. I do 75mph just shy of 4krpm in 6th. It could be a factory thing but just something I notice since I do a good bit of highway and city driving to and from work. I work in the Fairfield area so if you see a blue R3 around Jungle Jims that is pretty much me lol.

Nope, that sounds about right. I'm at 3900 @ 75mph. Top out around 35 redlining in 1st, 65 redlining in 2nd.

Yeah, Hows your mileage? lol. I know this is a big forum skandle lol. So far I'm averaging around 15 to 16 so I have dubbed my fuel gauge as a "Fun Gauge" lol.

I'm sure there are more educated opinions around here, but it really depends on how much highway I do. I usually do around a 50/50 split, and I get 18-19. When I do all highway, I can get 21-22. It also depends on how much you nurse it and how early you shift. I got better mileage when I shifted between 3k-3.5k than I do around 4k.

I don't even track my mileage anymore... makes it much more fun to drive

Yeah, I can't stop grinning when I'm driving the car.... regardless of the power it just makes me happy. Great platform and has so many features to enjoy. Granted I came from a s14 with a SR20DET swap to the 8 and having a/c, radio and other little features for daily driving is very nice lol. This is also my first REALLY nice car and I just enjoy it regardless of gas mileage. Yeah I also did better my last tank by shifting around that range and keeping rpms around 3k cursing. I will keep up with this because I'm totally down for some events. I don't get out much but driving the car and going places definitely has me motivated lol.

I recorded my gas mileage on our trip to Florida and we were consistently around 22-23mpg. I ran 80-85mph most of the way. Around town, I'm probably at 15-16 like you are.
