RedSheDevil:

It was good to meet you yesterday I hope you had a good time and hopefully the just wet enough roads at the twisties didn't scare ya away heheh.

Thanks again for coming out with us, there shoulda been more of us but it looks as though the weather scared alot of folks away (even though it never really did anything but sprinkle for a few minutes).

I was happy to see another RX8 out, we can never have too many 8's at the meet

Thanks again & lateRZ

Sorry for bailing- when i was heading out the door at 4p I checked my blackberry for email and saw a severe thunderstorm warning for the area, including penny sized hail... I just couldn't risk it. Glad you had a good time.... wish I would have ignored my email : )

Yes it is... here's the warning:
* AT 355 PM CDT(355 PM EST)...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PENNY
SIZE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS 60 TO 75 MPH...WHICH CAN KNOCK DOWN
LIMBS AND POWER LINES...DAMAGE WEAK STRUCTURES...AND PUSH TRUCKS
OFF THE HIGHWAY. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING
FROM 33 MILES NORTH OF RICHMOND TO 21 MILES NORTH OF RICHMOND TO 21
MILES NORTHWEST OF HEBRON....AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 50 MPH.

And of course it barely rained...

Pictures from after after the meet/cruise :)

Here's some pictures of the after after meet (we went cruising, went to do some indoor racing in buffalo grove, and then went to eat!):

I'll be at our Sept 15th RX-8 club meet. We can cruise around Schaumberg and heel - and - toe. I'm sure Al is good at it too but he might not be at that meet.

I want to meet the legendary BlueRenesis that almost hit me during touring at Road America.

North Ave is awesome.

My parents used to live thee blocks away from the North Avenue pubs on the east side. I stumbled my way home many nights from those pubs.
