Personally I wasnt a big fan of this meet just due to everyone talking ****, And this -

meet review!!!

alright so the meet was good today really nice meetin everyone and seeing their mazdas. for the most part

however i suggest the next meet for anyone wants to do their burnouts donuts or constantly rev their engine, go to another parking lot or go down the road. it was very annoying and childish. we dont want our meets to have a bad name to them or mazdas period, leave that **** for the ricers in there piece a **** cars. alot of us were pretty pissed this was going on, we dont want all the attention drawn to our meet so cops start showin up, we dont want to get in trouble for your behavior it aint no state street meet up. and yeah im talkin about the rx-8 drivers sorry if thats to harsh for some. -

So my reply was this:

Honestly,
I could have run around in circles is that childish? (hence I don't have my license nor car) HEHE

burnouts and stuff I agree, is retarded but reving up to hear the exaust in my opinion is not an issue.. some people are just gay and like to complain. I cant wait until I finally get to attend one!!!!

Here's the last of the good ones.

Jethro's car gets snapped. '04, is that you with the camera?

Sitting on the grass behind Raleigh's car, looking across the parking lot.

The "Lug Nut Incident". Snowboard tightening his nuts while getting mad at the tire shop. Another great diagnosis by bose.

Maul and GF (get a user name, girl!) stopped by after the soccer game.

Maul's blue 8 parked next to bose's SS.

One last artsy shot of Raleigh's VR.

It sounds like you guys had an "incident" with the ricers after Snowboard and I left...what exactly happened?

Nobody said anything until this morning. But apparently some people got mad at me for reving my engine when some guys wanted to hear my exhaust, and when snowboard came back from getting his wheels looked at he did a donut in the parking lot!

Haha wow... Its a car meet! I understand if that was all we were doing but a single donut and a few engine revs? We werent doing it anymore than anyone one else and our cars sounded like music compared to those 4 inch exhausts and what not. Good lord. I think im gonna stick to 8 meets though. I'm not a huge fan of 3's or 6's. I came cause I was hoping for some rx-7's and to meet some cool new people. Aside from meeting Brad and his gf none of that happened haha. I was quite bored. I'd complain more but i dont want to be told my signature is too big haha.

Without commenting specifically on what happened, since I had left by then, I tend to agree with Darius. You have to expect certain things at a car meet. Revving up engines is part of the experience. I did it on my way in, and on my way out again, though my exhaust is on the quiet side of after-market pipes. I'm a little old to do donuts in the parking lot. They'll take away my AARP card if I get caught.

While I like other Mazdas, I'm an old rotor-head, having owned a first-gen RX-7 back in the dinosaur days (lol), and that's the reason I bought my 8. Speed 3's are cute...at a distance.

I may stick to 8 and 7 meets from now on, also.

I like your sig, Darius. It's what it's all about. We have a good bunch of likeable people in our little group.

If your sig is too big, I'll lose a few pounds.

I will add that if there's going to be a lot of noise and smoke, a public park is probably not the right venue. Most people go there for a quite different experience, and we have to respect that or we'll get tossed from the park. Or we should reserve a pavillion out near the perimeter of the park instead of right in the middle.

If you want to see some rx7 ****, come to the SLCrotary meet Saturday the 28th. It is at Dave & Busters in S.Jordan. I am planning on it, and I know Bose is as well. What about you JT?

I would tend to agree, but it was an isolated incident, and not that big of a deal IMO

Maybe...I've seen most, if not all of the SLC Rotary 7's. I suck at poker. Really.

My car is "Miss October" on the SLC Rotary 2009 Calendar.

Well sorry guys if my little tantrum was too much but I was upset for good reason lol. Next time I will keep my happy little car away from the kids parks and ricer civic's. Although, in my opinion it was a very controlled 180 atleast 30 feet from any pedestrian... oh well, I get the point that we don't want any bad rep or have to kick and envious kid and his dog's *** at any meet.

I also did not care for most other mazda's or their drivers except the speed3 that took a drive with us.

Also I would like to mention that my *** was a little sweaty like the chic with the evo and I figured since her little wet line was showing that I could scratch mine lol.

Oh, and les schwab decided to tighten my lug nuts and put a temporary one on for the one I lost while they ordered me all new locking lug nuts and told me they would give me a discount on my new summer tires I have to buy after my 180 in the parking lot lol.

:D . . There was only one person that had a big issue with it, I bitched back and everyone else is just cool with it all. . . Honestly I like most of the Mazda owners, I still am not a big fan of the joined meets because it was just like we were talking among ourselves anyways lol

i have never been a big fan of joined meets. Like you said, they always end up being each group by themselves. In fl the only kind of cool group meets were the honda meets. they would have 100+ hondas just from the tampa area meet up at a big park. those were decent typically.
