Which one of you is "Wet Willie" over on the Dark Side?
I've got a Pentax K-1000 also. In fact I have 2 of them, had 'em for decades! I have so much invested in those cameras that it's hard to justify dropping it all to make the digital switch.
I wish I could find a DSLR that uses the Pentax/Riccoh bayonnet.

I still don't have a digital TV. I only watch maybe five or six hours a month so I've been putting it off until I get the family room remodeled, then I want to hang a 50" on the wall. Hopefully this fall, if my work schedule lets up enough to let me work on the house.
You guys pick a date and venue and let me know. I can't make a whole afternoon of it but should be able to snag a couple of hours on the 4th or 5th.

4th is looking OK for me scheudule-wise, but now the long-range weather forcast is saying Big Storm next weekend. It figures. Well, if it's too wet for a BBQ or cruise, we can grab some nachos and liquid refreshment at Chilis or someplace like that, eh?
A day later, and the long-range charts are looking better for the 4th...
Edit: What a difference a few hours makes. Now they are predicting thunderstorms by next weekend.
We'll see what happens once we get there. You know the saying about weather in Utah: If you don't like it, wait 15 minutes.
I had an unexpected couple of hours and went up Big Cottonwood canyon at 5:30 tonight. Beautiful drive- but too many other cars to have much fun on the road.

Phil!! It was cool finally meeting some people from this site! Cesar from Cali TOTALLY hooked it up with the coffee when I rolled in round 6 am. Then the workers couldn't decide how to line up the cars so I had to cut in line to be by your gang. The folks from Vagas were real cool but they never called me back about drivin back to Vegas in the a.m. I just figured they slept in and bailed. I had to roll out pretty early to make it back here at a decent hour. The AZ crew were pretty nice to, that one lady won the tires! and a guy from BF Goodrich asked me if I wanted to drive the C car around next time they're out here. Well, I'll have to let you Vegas crew know next time i'm rollin through so we can meet up again! It might be a while cuz I'm low on scratch now... like Flips avatar says WTF

well looks like rain tomorrow, I personally don't care my car needs a bath as it is. So is anyone still down to meet tomorrow around 1ish we can meet at murray park and then grab some grub somewhere near by. Chime in if your down.
Our new modular sofa was delivered today, and as I was looking it over, I found a small rip in the back of one of the recliner sections. They are bringing a replacement tomorrow (John Paras) sometime after 1:00, so I'm stuck at home until they show-up. For fifteen hundred bucks, they damn well better bring a replacement.
Post tomorrow's itinerary and if they are on-time, I'll catch up with you guys eventually.
