wow, looks like an awsome event.

Its not to hard to find twisty roads here in FL, but there is no elevation change....damn flat states!!!

Looks like fun, where did you go? I will be joining you next year (as soon as I get back from Iraq and get my 8!)

We started in North Longmont went through Lyons, into Ward, and then out through Left Hand Canyon back into Longmont. Was a great time, lots of twisty road, and plenty of places to push the car a bit.

After driving with the G35 I must say it is a very nice car. It holds it's own. Has a very styled interior. Nice Analog clock on the dash, a European feel. I wouldn't trade my 8 for it, but a great car nonetheless.

WOW! Where was I? Great pix, and I wonder: How are many of you getting away with no front license plate?

I work in the People's Republic of Boulder, and have been ticketed for no front license plate.

My memory says about 75% of the cars at the meet had front plates, and of the remaining cars, at least 2 were still new enough to be running the temporary tag. Some, if not most, of the front plate cars installed their plates before getting any tickets, just because they didn't want to deal with it.

How much is the no-front-plate ticket cost? I read somewhere that it is less than $20 in Colorado. Is that correct? Did you actually get stopped while driving, or did you just get ticketed while parking in Boulder? Was it a "fix-it" ticket where you were forced to put it on afterwards? I certainly see a lot of cars running around Boulder without front plates....

I haveno front plate on My Miata for 6 years now, got one ticket one time at a meter and it was $15. I have been stopped by State Patrol a few times, but I show them the plate and say I can't find a good bracket, which is true, and haven't had a problem yet. Knock on wood.

My RX8 is going to have New Mexico plates. (they only issue rear)

No front plates, but I think if I move to Boulder I better put one on--I saw the meter maid giving tickets for it the other day.

Denver tickets if you park on the street, they won't pull you over for it though
