CO New to the RX8 club! Fort Collins

Just dropping by to say Hi! I've had my 2009 GT for two months now and it's been a ton of fun... hella scary when it snows though on my way to work to Loveland D: Looking forward to the nice weather coming up. Anyone in the FTC area also on here? I have only seen a couple around down and only once in a great while.

Sadly I'm having a window issue already though anyone know why it makes a loud knocking noise when it reaches the top? The driver side button stopped responding too afterward, but the driver side works.

Sad to say, that in my experience(and not with this car), that it usually means the plastic teeth on the window motor gear is getting worn down(stripped) and it won't be long before you need another. I'm not sure about our 8, but when daughters 3 did that, had to replace the whole assembly(track and motor) as it was one piece.
And did you mean the passenger side button stop working but drivers side button is okay?

Oh boo. It's probably that then because it does sounds as if something is skipping at the top. It's the driver side passenger button that isn't responding. oh well. I'll just be extra careful with it until I can get it fixed. In the mean time I hope to hear from more Co owners ^_^

Welcome.

I am currently out of state, but will be in Denver when I return. Went to school at CSU, and my girlfriend still lives up there, so I am sure I will be back and forth several times.

Welcome. Mine is 04 yellow GT. Absolutely the best car I ever had, except for maybe my 86 Fleetwood, but that was my family Battlestar. This one is MINE!
If you havn't already done so, please read new owner sticky. Extremely helpful. Have fun!
