Hey MadDog!
I have a few questions for you. Did you by the chance get a new windshield or did you just take the sticker of of it that was in the middle? The reason I am asking is that I saw a Titanium Grey 8 today (3-3-06 Friday) parked out infront of SNL Medical and I was going to put a note on it but I was not sure if it was yours or not?

I was thinking we might want to drive down to San Antonio (New Mexico, south of Socorro) for the 7th best hamburger in the country. They are good, I was just there last weekend. The place is not open on Sunday however, so we would have to go on a Saturday. We could drive back via highway 60 North of Socorro thru Tijeras via 337. Highway 60 is the one Stinger likes and 337 is a twisting road back to I-25 at Tijeras.
Thoughts?

I think your Idea would be great Kewl !! The 18th or the 25th works for me right now but I am leaning towards the 25th as being the better of the 2 dates. As for the route either one will work!!!!!! Looking forward to a great turn out!!!!!!!!
This will also give me a chance to try out the new shoes I put on the 8. I ended up getting the BF Goodrich G-Froce Sport 245/40/18's last week. So far they seam to be a pretty good tire though I have not put to many miles on them yet. They are rather quiet and grip the road under normal driving as good or better than the Dunlops.

I think the 25th is a good bet as well....gives everyone time to plan!
BTW, next track day down in Deming is June 10/11 if you want to plan for that as well.
Let's plan on the 25th with specifics to follow....comments??

I don't know if I will be able to get off that saturday. I will try. Also just felt like ranting a little, University Mazda has my 8 for a couple days, the seatbelt is broken and they can't get the part overnight, and mazda says it is a safety issue, so they had to keep it. I love spending all my free time at the dealership. Also we should start a new thread this one is getting to be really huge.

Saturday works for me. So are we going to get some RX-7's to come along? Have a rotary drive. JFro Turbo appears to have the larger rotary owner connection.

Well a central location would be good since the idea is to meet up and then head south. How about the American Furniture Warehouse at Comanche and I-25. They have a nice big parking lot close to I25 so getting started will be easy. American Furniture Warehouse is on the NorthWest corner of the Comanche/I25 Intersection. We can park in the South facing lot so that anyone can see us from Comanche. The Comanche/I25 intersection is the first one North of the Big I on I25....of course.

Stinger tomorrow is only the 18th, please don't rush the month any faster then it is already doing for itself.
All is still on for the 25th. There is another tread running on the meet....sorry I can't recall the title. But I think the name almost gives it away....look under the Mountain Forum for the topic.... We will see you there....correct?

My sis has a house slowly going up north of Taos around Angelfire(roughed in) and Ive been there a few times helping her paint and hang cabinets and stuff to save on the tail end costs and was hoping to make my next visit in my 8 when she decides to do more interior work...So how many 8 owners live around Albuquerque NM?

Enkei J10 and BFG KDW/2 245/40/R18. If the damn sun will come out I will take a better picture. My old rims/tires all ready sold.

Put May 6th on your calendar....a saturday. 7pm to 10pm. Yes evening. Actually it would likely be better to get there early...6pm. That's the autox in the church parking lot. Last week was the first one for this year and we need to have some 8's represented. We only had three last week and only Stinger drove the course. He did a respectable job too! It was his first time and with two runs for the night he had the most consistent times of the 70+ races run.
MNOcho...nice looking wheels, but we want to see closer pictures so that we take in the beauty of those wheels and tires. Sik we want to see what you've done too!
