Colorado?
Welp, @114K my rx8 went boom, had it since 8K right after covid hit/shutdown..for the past few months I've been trying to find a reputable shop / person.
Wish we had rotary shops around here - I don't trust myself to do rebuilds / not very mechanically inclined.
Do you guys generally rebuild own or have a good place in CO to go for this?

I swapped my bad engine for a mazda remanufactured engine. I did the engine swap myself. I also added a s2 transmission at the time as my old s1 was bad from the previous owner.
There used to be a rotary shop years ago, but now there isnt one dedicated to that. You could try SRM Motorsports, there is a guy there that is a rotary enthusiast, but I have no experience with them so far.
Surprised, haven't heard from RX-8 club in forever!
I've been in Fort Collins area for about 7 yrs now, coming from New England. Haven't used my Red RX-8 in a while, it gets so dusty sitting there. Wishing there were some (decent) tracks around, as it's setup for track, not so much CO streets dips and curbs. Was another down the street, they traded for an MX-5.
